Chapter 574 Grant’s Request
“I don’t care. In my eyes, you’re the most beautiful.”
Jonathan dodged his playful fingers, laughing softly as she snuggled deeper into his embrace.

She chuckled a few times, then her mood shifted, biting her lip and whispering, “But, Mr. Holloway, should I really keep this baby? If you don’t want it, please let me take the baby away. I promise I’ll never show up in front of you again.”
Grant’s brows immediately furrowed. “Who said I don’t want it?”
“But Mrs. Holloway…”
“My child–what does she have to do with it?” His voice turned cold and hard, completely dismissing Luna.
If this had been before, Grant might have had some doubts.
But now, Luna and the Sterling family were nothing more than leeches clinging to him for survival–they dared not interfere with his affairs.
“The child you’re carrying is a Holloway descendant. Nobody can touch you.”
Jonathan shivered at the thought. “But Mr. Holloway, last time your aunt…”
“Don’t worry.” Grant comforted her. “Now that you have my child inside you, Aunt Sloane can barely keep up with doting on you. There’s no way she’d harm you.”
Then Grant pinched her arms and legs. “You’ve gotten thinner. Are you secretly starving yourself to lose weight again?”
Jonathan hurried to explain, “No, I haven’t been eating well these days–maybe it’s morning sickness.”
Her voice gradually softened. “And my parents keep fighting at home. I barely have any space to rest.
Grant frowned. “That won’t do. The baby inside you needs good care.”
He quickly made a decision and pulled out his phone to call. “Alaric, find a high–end place ready for immediate move–in. Send someone to help Jonathan move in.”
After hanging up, he reassured Jonathan,
“Aunt Sloane has experience with this. I’ll have her bring you nutritious food and take care of your meals.”
Jonathan felt overwhelmed with gratitude. “I–I don’t think that’s necessary…”
“There’s nothing unnecessary about it. You’re carrying my Holloway child–you’re the most important person.”
Grant’s tone was final, giving Jonathan no room to protest.

Without waiting for her answer, he went ahead and called Sloane right in front of Jonathan.
“What? You want me to serve that mistress?!”
Sloane’s voice practically burst through the phone, crystal clear to Jonathan’s ears.
Jonathan’s face flushed with shame.
Grant grabbed her hand and spoke firmly, word by word, to Sloane, “Aunt Sloane, she’s my woman, and she’s carrying my child. I have a responsibility to take care of her.”
Sloane was thunderstruck by Grant’s words.
“Jonathan’s pregnant?”
She was so shocked that she almost bit her tongue, stumbling over the words.
Once she recovered, Sloane shouted angrily, “Grant, are you out of your mind? This kind of thing is just a fling! How could you let a mistress get pregnant? If this leaks, what will happen to your reputation?!”
Grant remained unfazed, still indifferent. “Aunt Sloane, times have changed. Even in the old days, how many successful men had women on the side? It’s no big deal. What matters most is continuing the Holloway bloodline.”
Sloane was left speechless by that remark.
Grant had just registered his marriage–not long ago, the whole internet buzzed about it. Luna wasn’t even showing yet.
And now Jonathan was already pregnant? He must be crazy.
If not for Grant’s status, Sloane would’ve cursed him out–he deserved the gallows.
But now Grant sounded proud? He was quite shameless.
Sloane cursed under her breath several times.
Then, softening her tone, she said, “Grant, I know your work is stressful, and you need comfort from women. But you have to consider the rumors outside. The internet is scary now. Just today, Oriana made the trending list several times. She and her husband’s spat is all over the web. They were showing off their love not long ago, and now they’re fighting. Everyone’s just waiting for the next joke.”
