My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 353

"What is this?" Lucian held up the white lace teddy by its thin straps, exposing the entire piece of lingerie to the light.

The sheer lace was practically transparent, featuring a plunging neckline and daring cutouts at the waist. Crushed together, it was barely enough fabric to cover anything.

Seraphina was blushing so hard she felt like she might burst. She lunged forward to grab it. "Give it back!"

Lucian raised his arm effortlessly, dodging her grasp.

"Tiffany gave it to me!" Seraphina was frantic. "She forced it on me! I didn't want to buy it, she just insisted—"

"Oh? Well, she has excellent taste." Lucian looked at her, his eyes brimming with amusement.

"Lucian!"

"I'm just being honest."

He placed the lingerie back into the bag, his tone perfectly calm. "The design is gorgeous, and the fabric is nice. It should look stunning against your skin."

Seraphina wanted the floor to open up and swallow her whole.

"Stop talking."

"What's wrong? Are you shy?" Lucian teased.

"You're the one who's shy!" Seraphina shot back stubbornly, though the tips of her ears were burning red.

Seeing her flustered state, Lucian couldn't help but laugh out loud.

He reached out and ruffled her hair, his voice dropping an octave. "Alright, I'll stop teasing. Go run that bath."

Feeling like she had been granted a royal pardon, Seraphina spun around and bolted.

After two steps, she turned back, snatched the bag from his hand, and darted upstairs, shoving it into the deepest drawer of her walk-in closet.

Taking a deep breath, she tried to act nonchalant as she went into the bathroom to start the water.

By the time Lucian finished his dinner and came upstairs, the bath was ready. Seraphina was crouched beside the crib, watching Little Bean sleep.

The baby was sleeping soundly, his tiny mouth slightly parted, displaying his long, curled lashes.

"Stop staring. You won't find a pot of gold in there," Lucian said as he walked over and leaned down to look at his son. "He looks exactly like me when he sleeps."

"...Are you sure about that?" Seraphina questioned.

"Positive."

"He drools when he sleeps. Do you drool too?"
