My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 504

With a heavy thud, Lucian slammed the door shut behind her.

He trapped Seraphina between his body and the solid wood of the door.

She looked up, her gaze crashing straight into his deep, intense eyes.

Her heart skipped a beat.

His pulse was racing, and his body heat radiated against her.

She tried to push him away, but Lucian effortlessly pinned both of her wrists to the door with one hand.

His other hand cupped the back of her head as he leaned down and captured her lips.

His kiss was hot and demanding, his tongue expertly coaxing her mouth open. Just as he always did, he swept through her senses with undeniable dominance, stealing her breath and sending a thrill straight to her core.

Seraphina was dizzy from the kiss, her breathing erratic as her body went completely soft against him.

By the time he finally pulled back, she nearly slid to the floor.

Lucian caught her by the waist, sweeping her up into his arms and carrying her over to the sofa, where he set her down gently.

Disoriented by the sudden movement, she grabbed a fistful of his shirt collar in a panic.

Looking down at his ruined collar, Lucian let out a low chuckle. "Sweetheart, I have a meeting with clients right after lunch."

Her face burned bright red. Looking away, she muttered, "Well, that's your own fault."

"My fault for what?"

As he spoke, his warm breath brushed against her skin.

She shrank back slightly, her cheeks flushing so deeply they looked like they might bleed.

"I'm not coming up here next time if you're just going to ambush me like that."

Not coming up? That was absolutely unacceptable.

Lucian opened the elegant thermal containers, and a mouthwatering aroma immediately filled the air, drifting right to Seraphina.

She took a deep breath. "Wow, that smells amazing."

Lucian smirked. "If you don't come up here, you won't get to eat food this good."
