At the very least, Samantha's reputation had further reinforced her reputation as a brainless socialite.
Grace smiled and said, "The Merlock family had this coming for them! Samantha kept going on and on about how Laura was the best there was, even though the Greene family never even once acknowledged their relationship.
"And they actually have the gall to call you the homewrecker instead! They're utterly shameless!"
Noelle looked at Grace's angry expression and said, "It's alright now. We still have more important tasks at hand."
"I know. I've been keeping an eye on Xenia, and she just headed toward the entrance. It's most likely because the Parham family has arrived."
Upon hearing that, a cold glint flashed across Noelle's eyes. Now that the opportunity had presented itself, she was not about to let it go to waste.
Before long, the banquet finally began.
Noelle and Grace stood among the crowd, watching as Mia stepped forward in a beautiful, princess-like dress.
Mia took every step steadily and gracefully, showing no signs of anything unusual.
It would seem that Noelle's design worked wonders for Mia. However, given the short schedule, it was not fully comfortable, and they would still be open to adjustments and improvements.
Emma suddenly appeared beside Noelle. "You're here too, Noelle?"
Her gaze fell onto Noelle's dress as she realized that it looked familiar. Noelle felt a bit awkward when she saw Emma. After all, the dress she was wearing now was a gift from Cedric.
Emma glanced at Noelle's dress and smiled. "Did you come here alone? I heard that the Liddell family is also attending the banquet today to announce the good news of the engagement between the Liddells and the Cantrells."
Noelle pursed her lips and replied, "It's not exactly good news."
Just then, Laura walked over casually, as if the incident from earlier had never even happened. "Ms. Noelle, do you have an opinion against the Cantrell family? The marriage with them should also be beneficial for your family."
Noelle was unimpressed. "Samantha just falsely accused me of being a thief just now, and it's proven that she had framed me for the entire thing.
