No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 633

Noelle watched as Donovan rushed forward and slapped Xenia so hard that she was sent flying away.

Xenia spun around twice. She tried to grab onto someone to steady herself, but everyone nearby just stepped back to avoid being hit. In the end, she found herself falling down on the lawn, with half of her face swelling up from the slap.

Noelle clicked her tongue as she realized that the banquet being held outdoors had just saved Xenia's life. Had it been held indoors, Xenia's head might have been split open when she hit the cold, hard floor.

Everyone nearby was flabbergasted by the scene.

Wyatt hurried forward and grabbed Donovan. "Donovan, what are you doing? Are you trying to kill her?"

"If I could, I really would have killed this shameless woman right now!" Donovan replied.

He was genuinely so furious that he felt like killing someone. He could not believe that Xenia would cause such a huge mess and bring shame to the Liddell family at such a critical moment.

Noelle then chimed in and said, "You're in the wrong for this, Donovan. We're all family no matter what, isn't that right? Why don't you just take a step back for Xenia's sake?"

After she finished, she could not help but chuckle when she saw the murderous look in Donovan's eyes. Karma had finally come for Donovan, and this time, it hurt.

Xenia soon propped herself back up, her face still numb in pain as she looked at Donovan with an innocent expression. "Donovan, what did I do wrong? Why did you hit me?"

She felt extremely aggrieved. She had no idea what to do, with so many members of high society looking at her sorry state.

Donovan pointed at her and shouted. "Where were you just now?!"

Xenia felt a little guilty. "I was in the restroom!"

She certainly would not admit to meeting up with Justin, let alone having an intimate moment with him in a private lounge. As far as she knew, everyone else was enjoying the banquet, and no one should have noticed what she was doing.

As soon as she finished explaining herself, the crowd nearby scoffed and said, "The background didn't look like the restroom, though. It looked more like a private lounge."

"Damn, who knew that Justin was such a playboy?"

"Who would've thought that the Liddell family's daughter was such a bold person? Doing it right then and there at the lounge? She sure is easygoing."

Xenia's heart sank as she realized what they were talking about. She could not understand what was happening for a moment. She could not understand how the crowd had known about what she had done.

Just then, Wyatt stepped up to Xenia and asked, "Xenia, tell me, were you being forced to do this? I swear that I'll make that motherfucker pay for this!"

The price is only 1/4 of what others charge
