No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 632

Both Noelle and Mia returned to the lounge. Mia then quickly changed into a new outfit and switched up her hairstyle.

Nobody had come in to disturb them even once.

When Mia finished changing and stepped out of the lounge, she was greeted by a crowd that was parting away to make way for Donovan, who was pushing a large cake toward her. The crowd around him then started to cheer and sing.

Noelle felt a chill running down her spine as she watched the scene unfold from the side. It was no wonder that Donovan never came to the lounge, as he was busy preparing all of this.

She felt that the Liddell family was as presumptuous and selfish as ever, making arrangements for others they thought would be for the best without ever once asking the recipient if they actually wanted them.

Donovan pushed the cake toward Mia. Salena, from the side, smiled and said, "The two of you may have misunderstandings, but you should also work things out together.

"Take a look at how sincere Mr. Donovan is. He even went through all this effort to surprise you!"

Mia felt that she was being morally abducted as she stared at the cook in front of her.

Salena then handed the cake knife to Mia and whispered, "You can act stubborn all you want, Mia, but are you really going to ignore your mother and brother overseas? Your brother still needs a lot of money for his treatment, no?"

Mia's expression turned pale as she realized that Salena was blatantly threatening her.

Mia's family was not short on money or anything, but they were simply not interested in taking charge of the family or the company. As a result, Salena's family took charge instead.

Noelle stood right next to Mia and had also heard Salena's threats. She felt extremely displeased and disgusted by the outright bullying she was witnessing.

Mia gritted her teeth as she took the cake knife and cut down on the large cake, only to reveal that there was a red box hidden within.

Donovan opened the box and took out a ring before getting down on one knee. "Mia Cantrell, I know that I may not be perfect, but I hope that you can give me a chance. I promise that I'll give you a happy and fulfilling life."

Salena chimed in as well. "Indeed. Look at how sincere he is, Mia. He's been preparing this for you for a very long time. Hurry up and say yes!"

The crowd around them started to cheer. "Say yes! Say yes!"

Donovan held out the ring in the air and stared at Mia with a look of deep affection.

The price is only 1/4 of what others charge
