Wyatt and Xenia were stunned, their faces frozen in shock. Xenia's voice trembled. "How is this possible? It can't be true!"
She still couldn't accept reality. The broke school doctor had turned out to be the heir of the most powerful family in Yasnia. Did that mean Noelle was about to rise to the top? Why Noelle?
Wyatt started panicking as well. "Donovan, what do we do now?"
Who could have imagined that Noelle's supposedly broke boyfriend had such an influential background? The Liddell family couldn't afford to offend the Greene family now!
"How the hell should I know?!" Donovan snapped, his voice cracking under pressure. "I've spent so many years working for the family, sacrificing everything, and what do I have to show for it in the end?"
He was at his wit's end. Not a single person in the family could help him, and they were all just dragging him down.
Salena stepped forward and stared at Cedric. "Everything has been cleaned up. Nothing from today will be leaked. I'll be taking my leave."
Salena knew there was no turning back. She needed to sever all ties with the Liddells as soon as possible. As soon as she left, another group of people arrived.
Tilly walked up to Cedric and Noelle. "We've taken over here. Mr. Greene, do you have any instructions?"
It was only then that Cedric finally turned to Noelle, resting his hands gently on her shoulders. "It's over."
Noelle reached out and wiped away a smear of blood from his cheek. She hadn't expected him to be so ruthless in a fight.
Cedric caught her hand. "Did I scare you?"
She chuckled. "No. But you said you were just an amateur when you first taught me boxing. What kind of amateur has skills like that?"
She then turned to face the Liddells and walked toward Donovan. "My dear, innocent brother, what's going through your mind right now? Just moments ago, you were poking the heir of the Greene family in the chest, calling him a broke nobody."
