No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 695

Noelle stared at Donovan, whose expression was now extremely grim.

Donovan replied, "I can apologize to you, Noelle."

At that point, Donovan had no choice but to swallow his pride.

Noelle glanced at the property division document and said, "I have one more condition. This villa must be transferred to my name."

Wyatt immediately retorted, "What right do you have for that to happen? This house is supposed to be Xenia's and my house after the wedding!"

Noelle could not believe how shameless Wyatt was. She turned to Donovan and continued, "This is my final condition. Transfer the villa's ownership to me, and the Liddell Corporation's product release must be delayed one month after Maple Enterprise's."

Donovan made a decision right on the spot. "The villa can be yours, but I can't delay the release date of our product that much."

Noelle stood up and replied, "Then there's nothing more for us to discuss."

With that, she got ready to leave, not giving Donovan any room for negotiation.

Donovan eventually relented. "Fine, we'll do it your way."

Delaying the release by a month was still better than going bankrupt entirely.

Xenia was unwilling to accept the deal. She turned to Wyatt and said, "Wasn't this villa supposed to be our house?"

Wyatt said, "Donovan, I already promised to give this villa to Xenia! You can't just give it to Noelle!"

Donovan replied coldly, "Fine, how about you handle this entire mess, huh? If you can't fix it, then shut the hell up!"

Wyatt fell silent in an instant. He knew that he could not possibly solve the current problem.

Donovan quickly revised the contract, signed it, and then handed it to Noelle. "Is this good enough yet?"

Noelle signed the contract without hesitation now that she was no longer at a loss. "That's more like it. I'm only letting you go off easy because we're family. It won't happen again."

The Liddell Corporation would not last for much longer anyway.

Xenia stormed upstairs after hearing that the villa would be given to Noelle. She had planned to snatch up the property before she left, but now, Noelle had beat her to it.

Wyatt cursed in protest, but Noelle just ignored him and went straight to her room to rest.

Noelle chuckled. "They act like they have morals when they really only care about profits and benefits."

"There's something you should know. Mrs. Merlock had also gone to the car dealership. You should be extra cautious for the time being and avoid any secluded places if you can," Cedric replied.

Noelle immediately perked up. "Do you think they'll try to do something?"

"It's hard to say, but I won't rule out the possibility. Everyone's already on edge now."

Noelle grew more and more certain that car accident in the past were not just a simple accident. "This is the perfect chance to find out the truth! I'd like to see what exactly is the connection between Mrs. Merlock and that mechanic."

Cedric disagreed. "Don't be reckless, Noelle. It's dangerous."

"Don't worry, Cedric. I value my life more than anyone values their own," she replied.

Noelle had died far too unjustly in her past life. The Liddells raised the enemy's daughter as their own and even kicked the real daughter out of the house before locking her up in a mental institution.

The Liddell family was manipulated from the beginning until the very end, where they ended up in ruins.

After finishing their conversation, both sides fell into silence.
