Noelle hadn't expected anyone to do such a shameless act. She hadn't been on guard at all and was pushed straight into Cedric's arms. He immediately wrapped an arm around her waist and held her tightly, protecting her from harm.

Noelle was furious. Such behavior clearly meant they treated ladies like playthings for amusement!

"Ladies in university are different, huh? Look at how young she is. Her skin is flawless, and there aren't any wrinkles!"

"Julien, don't joke like that. This is a university, not a bar or nightclub."

"There are plenty of female university students in those places, too. But it's rare to see one as impressive as this young lady."

Noelle stood up from Cedric's arms with her face flushed red. She turned her gaze to the middle-aged man who'd pushed her and joked about it.

The man, Calvin Edgar, grinned, "Oh, are you mad? Mr. Greene is a handsome and outstanding man; plenty of ladies would love to fall into his arms. Don't be ungrateful."

Noelle sneered, and her expression turned cold.

Cedric stood beside her and watched in silence. He didn't interfere, knowing Noelle could handle this herself.

Noelle stared at Calvin and said, "Mr. Edgar, you say there are plenty of female students in bars. That includes your daughter, right?"

Calvin's smile immediately dropped. "What are you saying? Don't you have manners?"

"I said nothing wrong, did I? I heard your daughter loves frequenting bars and nightclubs and changes male models multiple times a night.

"A little while ago, she got too carried away that one of the male models ended up dead. To keep her out of trouble, you sent her overseas right away."

"You're sprouting nonsense!" Calvin's expression turned grim. He'd completely buried the incident, so how did Noelle know?

Noelle smiled. "Whether or not I'm talking nonsense, I'm sure you know best."

Calvin turned to him and eagerly said, "Mr. Greene, if you like her, I can get her for you."

Though these ladies might act tough, they always gave in to enough money and pressure.

Cedric's expression instantly turned cold, and his eyes sharpened. He stared Calvin down and snapped, "Instead of wasting time on such sleazy tactics, why don't you focus on fixing your company before it completely tanks?"

They were both in the tech industry, but some companies simply weren't doing well.

"Let me be direct, Mr. Greene. I'd like to partner with Maple Enterprise…" Calvin began.

Cedric shot him a cold glare. "I choose my partners based on character, and yours is far from satisfactory. I utterly despise people who casually humiliate women."

Calvin immediately paled as sweat broke out across his forehead. He dared not say another word.
