Chapter 447 Proof in Plain Sight
“I guess I’m the kind of person who walks straight into trouble.
The moment she finished speaking, the elevator doors slowly slid open.
They had reached the executive floor.
Amelia stepped out without hesitation.
But she didn’t head toward Tim’s office.
Instead, she walked toward the CEO’s office at the far end of the hallway.
“Hey! Amelia!”
Vince panicked and rushed after her.
“You’re crazy! You can’t go into Mr. Everett’s office without an appointment!”
Amelia ignored him completely.

The executive floor was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Secretaries and assistants sat at their desks. Vince’s panic and raised voice had already drawn a few confused looks.
He didn’t dare to shout anymore. He could only watch as Amelia walked up to the door and knocked twice, calm and steady.
Then she said loudly, “It’s me.”
Vince’s mind went blank.
It’s me?
How could she speak like that outside the CEO’s office, like she owned the place?
Before Vince could even process it, something even more shocking happened.
The office door opened from inside.
Mason himself stepped out.
When he saw Amelia, he paused for a second. Then a small smile appeared in his eyes.
“Didn’t we say we’d meet after work-”
He didn’t get to finish.
Amelia reached out, grabbed his tie, and pulled him down toward her.
Right in front of Vince’s wide, horrified eyes, Amelia lifted her face and pressed her lips firmly against
Mason’s.

After his brief surprise. Mason didn’t push her away. Instead, he wrapped a strong arm around her slim waist, pulling her closer, deepening the sudden kiss.
Vince’s whole world seemed to shrink into the shocking scene in front of him.
His pupils shrank as shock flooded his face.
Every word he had said to Amelia in the elevator had turned into embarrassment.
He felt like a complete fool.
Amelia decided the show had done its job.
Even someone as clueless as Vince should understand her relationship with Mason now.
A soft moan slipped from her throat. She gently tapped Mason’s shoulder, signaling him to let her go.
Mason pulled back, clearly reluctant. But his arm stayed around her waist, holding her in a firm, possessive
way.
Amelia’s cheeks were bright red, like she was wearing the boldest blush.
She slowly turned to look at Vince, who stood frozen in shock.
“Mr. Radcliffe,” she said calmly, “next time, don’t speak ill of my boyfriend right in my face.”
Her bright eyes narrowed slightly.
“I take things very seriously.”
But that wasn’t all.
Mason felt the warmth of the woman in his arms, and a deep sense of satisfaction filled his chest.
He looked down at Amelia, whose cheeks were red but whose spirit was fierce. Then his gaze turned cold as he looked at Vince.
“And one more, thing,” he said, holding Amelia close and lightly resting his chin on the top of her head, every move full of quiet intimacy. “Don’t speak ill about my girlfriend in front of me either.”
“I have a temper.”
His voice was calm. But the flash of danger in his eyes made Vince feel like he had fallen into ice water. A chill ran from head to toe.
He knew Mason wasn’t joking.
The two of them moved in perfect sync, making Vince look even more ridiculous.
