Rebirth Revenge Is Everything (Ariana) novel Chapter 767

Ariana’s expression instantly shifted. After a moment of tense silence, she furrowed her brows and asked, “What exactly are you trying to say?”

Truth be told, the story Bran had just recounted made little sense to her—it seemed like a jumbled tale about his past with Irene. Though unsure why he was sharing this with her, Ariana had listened without interruption. But now, he had abruptly pivoted to the subject of her origins.

First came confusion, then a dark cloud settled over her features.

His implication was unmistakable: he knew about her background. He was telling her that he knew she was Kendra’s biological daughter.

The look in his eyes conveyed exactly that.

Ariana had no idea what he was aiming for. After three seconds of icy silence, she replied coldly, “I don’t understand what you mean.” She had no intention of admitting it—she had never planned to acknowledge Kendra as her mother. Now, faced with direct questioning, she was even less inclined to concede. She refused to dwell on how she had ended up being raised by Georgia.

But the fact remained: Kendra had abandoned her.

No excuse could erase that truth.

In Ariana’s heart, she would never accept Kendra. They shared not the slightest connection.

Gilbert was her only parent.

Bran studied his sister’s suddenly altered demeanor, his brow furrowing. “Do you truly not know?”

Ariana’s reply was sharp. “I don’t.”

Pressing his lips together, Bran shrugged. “Fine. If you don’t know, I’ll spell it out for you.”

He had no interest in guessing whether she genuinely hadn’t grasped the story or was feigning ignorance to avoid acknowledgment. Either way, it didn’t matter to him. She wouldn’t be allowed to evade this.

His eyes locked onto hers as he spoke, each word deliberate. “Kendra is your mother—and mine. Perhaps your Western features aren’t pronounced enough for anyone to have suspected. But…” His gaze turned frosty. “There is no doubt that you are my father’s biological daughter.”

He held her stare, enunciating clearly. “I am your biological brother.”

As for Ariana...

She sat there completely frozen.

The sudden revelation of her true parentage left Ariana utterly stunned. A father…? Although she had already learned the identity of her biological mother, she had never felt the slightest curiosity about her biological father. Deep down, she had vaguely assumed that her birth mother must have encountered some irresponsible man in her youth. After all, relationships back then were often unstable, and having a child out of wedlock wasn’t uncommon.

Otherwise, she would have grown up in the Harper family instead of the White family.

Bran, seeing that Ariana finally seemed to be “processing” the information, allowed a faint, gentle light to flicker in his eyes. “I understand this might be difficult to accept all at once, but that’s alright. You can take as much time as you need to process it. I had your blood tested for DNA when I gave you a transfusion yesterday, so there’s no doubt about it. You are my sister, the daughter of the Moore Group.” Having said that, Bran couldn’t resist reaching out to gently ruffle her hair.

Ariana was still too dazed to react.
