Rebirth Revenge Is Everything (Ariana) novel Chapter 807

Lambert completely ignored Ariana’s burning red cheeks and shamelessly continued, "Well, you were the one who said you’d make it up to me tonight. Otherwise, I’d have just let you bite me for nothing."

"..."

Before Ariana could respond, Carson, who had somehow been eavesdropping on their conversation, piped up curiously, "Bite what?"

Ariana’s face was now as red as an apple. She shot Lambert a glare before turning to Carson and snapping, "Nothing. Just eat your food."

Carson, unjustly scolded, wilted like a deflated balloon. Picking up his bowl dejectedly, he thought sadly, 'Even Mom doesn’t like me anymore. Waaah...'

Once she’d dealt with their son, Ariana immediately grabbed hold of Lambert’s collar. If anyone else had dared manhandle him like this, Lambert’s expression would have darkened instantly. But since it was Ariana, he merely raised an eyebrow and let her drag him to his feet, sighing, "What now?"

Ariana leaned in close, her voice a low, threatening whisper, "Listen, all I did was mistake your hand for a trotter and take a bite. Enough already. If you keep saying stuff like that in front of the kids, don’t blame me for what happens next."

"And what exactly are you going to do?"

Lambert’s eyes gleamed with anticipation, clearly eager to find out.

Ariana: "..."

...

In the end, Ariana, whose face wasn’t as thick as Lambert’s, suffered a crushing defeat. But she didn’t let him off easy either. Originally, they were supposed to go to the company together, but Ariana had the driver take off without him, leaving Lambert standing alone on the curb, silently watching the car disappear into the distance.

Only then did Ariana feel a little vindicated.

Though... it was a bit childish.

The White Corporation wasn’t far, and they arrived quickly. As Ariana stepped into the building, some employees couldn’t hide their surprise at seeing her. She rarely visited the White Corp. these days, having delegated most affairs to Kiara. Her sudden appearance naturally caught people off guard.

But surprise aside, courtesy remained.

Everyone who crossed paths with her greeted her with a respectful "President White." Ariana acknowledged them with a faint nod before turning to her assistant. "Is Kiara in the office?"

The assistant replied, "Yes." After a brief pause, he added, "Director White is likely in a meeting right now. Would you like to go in, President?" Since Ariana hadn’t given prior notice, the meeting hadn’t been scheduled with her in mind.

"No need."

Ariana had no interest in the meeting—she already knew exactly what would be discussed.

It would just be the usual daily performance reports and minor operational updates. If anything major required deliberation, the board would inform her directly. Without hesitation, she headed straight for Kiara’s office.

Just as she was about to enter,

Zoey happened to pass by and spotted her. Her eyes instantly lit up, flickering with a mix of surprise and a mocking, almost amused gleam. She sauntered over, blocking Ariana’s path with a bright smile. "Long time no see, Sister Ariana. What brings you to the company today?"

Ariana narrowed her eyes.

The price is only 1/4 of what others charge
