Rebirth Revenge Is Everything (Ariana) novel Chapter 806

Upon hearing this, Kiara smiled and said, "It's fine—I wasn't planning on having breakfast anyway. I have some things to take care of at the company, so I need to head there early. When my sister and brother-in-law come down, could you let them know I’ve already left?"

Lucian and the others left for school at seven.

Since the cook wouldn’t start preparing breakfast until six-thirty at the earliest, Kiara genuinely hadn’t intended to eat.

The cook breathed a sigh of relief, her impression of the young mistress’s sister improving considerably. She nodded politely. "Of course, I’ll inform the master and madam."

Kiara gave a small nod.

Then, grabbing her bag, she walked out.

There was a reason she had risen so early.

Today, she had a date with Rawls, so Kiara planned to get to the office ahead of schedule. If she worked efficiently, she could finish at least half of her tasks before noon. Then, when she returned in the evening, she could wrap up the rest.

At the thought, her cheeks flushed again without her realizing it.

She pressed a hand discreetly to her warm face, secretly acknowledging that this time, she might really be in deep.

...

The butler was in the front garden when Kiara passed by.

Spotting him, she called out cheerfully, "Uncle?"

Hearing her voice, the butler turned and, recognizing the madam’s younger sister, quickly stepped forward. "Miss White," he greeted courteously. "Is there something you need?"

Kiara shook her head and said, "No, I’m just leaving early. My sister and brother-in-law haven’t gotten up yet, so I didn’t tell them. Could you please let them know once they’re awake? Just say I went to the office ahead of time."

After a moment’s thought, Kiara decided it would be polite to inform the butler as well. It wouldn’t do to only tell the cook and leave him out.

The butler was pleasantly surprised that Kiara had taken the initiative to speak with him, and his smile grew noticeably warmer. He nodded and replied, "Of course, Miss White. I’ll inform Madam. But—won’t you stay for breakfast?"

Kiara shook her head again. "No need, I’ll grab something on the way."

"Then take care, Miss White."

"Mm-hmm." With that, Kiara headed toward the door, her steps light and cheerful. It was clear that the good mood from her phone call with Rawls the previous night had carried over into the morning.

So, when breakfast time arrived, and Ariana came downstairs, the butler approached her and relayed Kiara’s early departure.

Ariana blinked in surprise. "She woke up this early?"

The butler smiled. "Yes, Miss White was up quite early. According to the cook, she was already awake by six."

Ariana nodded, though inwardly she resolved to have a proper talk with Kiara soon. Working hard was commendable, but throwing herself entirely into work wasn’t good—not just for her mind, but for her health as well.

At the same time, Lucian and the others descended, including Lambert.

Lambert’s expression was particularly stormy, especially when his gaze landed on Ariana. His eyes narrowed, making her avert her own guiltily, unable to meet the reproachful look in his.

The children, of course, remained oblivious to the strange tension between their parents.

Carson was the first to take his seat—even before Lucian.

He stealthily glanced at his father and, seeing that the man hadn’t even spared him a look, let out a quiet sigh of relief. Then he picked up his glass of milk and took a small sip. Though he disliked milk, he was starving, and since his parents hadn’t yet taken their seats, he didn’t dare start eating breakfast properly. For now, the milk would have to do—better than nothing to stave off the hunger.

Just then, the nanny came downstairs to fetch the prepared formula from the kitchen.

Ariana asked, "Is Gracie awake?"

The price is only 1/4 of what others charge
