Rejected, Abused, I Fall for the Forbidden Alpha (by Riley Scott) novel Chapter 273

Chapter 273

“Well, we’ve probably had a lot of elderly pack members die,” he said evasively.

I snorted. He had an answer for everything.

“What about the fact that all those missing are women? Women primarily aged 18-25? Young girls who disappeared without a trace? You attempted to get rid of all their information, including their medical and birth records, but you were stupid. There’s a digital footprint, and it led directly back to you.”

“That has nothing to do with me,” he growled, “maybe they found mates and went to other packs?”

“Then why is there no record of that in the pack? Every time a member relocates, a pack keeps careful records to ensure they know the precise numbers of shifters in their pack.”

“We’re not as strict with that here,” he said angrily, “not every pack is as fastidious and obsessive compulsive as yours is.”

“It’s common sense and your duty as Alpha to keep immaculate records. As for those women, what happened?” 1 leaned back and observed him as his eyes slid away from me and he swallowed hard.

Thank god for my skills and Shadow Pack’s hackers. Without them, I would never have dug up all this information

on my own.

I saw his eyes glaze over and knew he was mind-linking someone. I tensed, my men on high alert, but there was an inscrutable expression on Alpha Jacob’s face, and it was impossible to know what he was planning.

“I don’t know anything about those girls. Besides, they were probably just omegas,” he snapped.

My lips curved.

“You’re right,” I said agreeably, “they were omegas. All young, all pretty, and all serving in this very pack house. They all went missing over the last two years, just after you took over this pack. Isn’t that a coincidence?”

“That means nothing,” he snarled, his face growing red in anger.

“Nothing. It points directly at you. What Alpha wouldn’t know what was going on in his very pack house? Deny it all you want, but I found the evidence. You kept videos on your laptop, Jacob, videos that were very easy to find. You raped them,” I could barely hold back my rage, “you raped those poor girls over and over, and when you were finished, you killed them without mercy. You put a camera in your room and recorded everything, start to finish like the sick bastard you are. Those girls had families, loved ones, and you just snuffed out their lives like it was nothing.”

He knew he was beaten. Instead of denying it, he looked at me with a twisted smile.

“Those girls were nothing but pathetic omegas. They seduced me,” he denied, “they came on to me, and when I indulged them, they tried to blackmail me into taking them as mates. Naturally, I would never let myself be cornered like that. They all deserved what they got,” he hissed.

_”‘You raped them,” my voice grew louder as I stood up, staring down at the Alpha who clearly thought he was

untouchable. “You used your position to force them and then killed them so they couldn’t talk. 20 women Alpha Jacob. That’s how many you killed. How can you sleep at night?”

“Oh, don’t play the guilt card with me,” he sneered, “I can do anything I want as the Alpha of this pack. So what if I killed a bunch of omegas? Nobody here was going to stop me.”

“It’s illegal,” I snarled, “illegal and morally wrong. Your pack deserves to burn to the ground and you along with

1/2

it!”

+15 10.

“Is that so?” his tone was soft and maddening, his eyes flashing with barely concealed glee, “but you might want to consider one last thing before you try and take me down.”

“What’s that?”

“Besides the fact I’m an Alpha, and you’re a measly Beta who can never hope to defeat me?” he chuckled, “you think I didn’t notice the look in your eyes when you saw that girl yesterday? How you stepped so close to her, you might as well be kissing? You’re on my turf Beta, and I’m about to remind you of your place.”

I frowned, not comprehending what he meant.

“Bring her in,” he barked and my head slowly swivelled to the doorway, a sinking feeling in my stomach.
