Rejected, Abused, I Fall for the Forbidden Alpha (by Riley Scott) novel Chapter 276

Chapter 276

Aaron POV

The sight of my mate struggling against that bastard Jacob nearly froze me. I could see the fear in her eyes as she flailed against him. It infuriated me. The man was bordering on obsessive. He’d even abandoned his pack in favor of taking my mate.

Rage coursed through me as she suddenly broke free, the chain trailing on the floor, her eyes wide as she ran for all she was worth, Jacob shifting behind her, ready to tear into her.

I shifted without hesitation, intercepting him before he could touch her. Our bodies slammed together, and I gave a loud growl as I clawed at him.

We parted. My mate stood in the background, her hand to her mouth, her eyes wide in shock.

I lashed out, tearing part of Jacob’s flesh from his side as he gave a low hiss of pain.

His wolf was big and black, but his speed was slow and his combat skills remarkably weak for an Alpha.

This man hadn’t trained in a very, very long time, and it showed.

I kicked him, sending the bastard straight into the nearest tree trunk. I watched his wolf fall to the ground with maliciousness.

He’d touched her. He’d tried to force her. I wouldn’t forget the threats he’d made, the attempt on my life.

I wasn’t going to go easy on him. I wasn’t the Shadow Pack’s Beta for nothing.

I lunged, tackling him to the ground. Our bodies rolled over and over. I bit him hard and then used my claws to slash at his underbelly.

He roared.

I backed away, my eyes gleaming as blood began to pool on the ground.

I’d severely injured him. Yet he stood there, his eyes glinting with undisguised hatred as he stared at me.

I lowered my head and patiently waited.

He was letting his emotions get the better of him. I knew that between his frustration and humiliation, he would leave himself open, and I was right.

I easily dodged the next attack and slashed his side.

His fur was a mixture of black and red as blood began to mat his fur.

It was a sickening sight, but Jacob refused to give up.

I had never seen anybody as stupid as him before. Even now, he thought he had a chance of winning.

I overpowered him again and sent him sprawling backwards.

My men were already surrounding us, and the other pack members who had grouped did not attempt to help him.

I guess he wasn’t as popular as he thought he was, or everybody was smart enough to realize my men would take them out before they so much as reached Jacob.

Another weak attempt, and I effectively injured him once more.

1/2

I was drawing this out now, enjoying myself immensely.

+15 A

I wanted to prolong this and make the bastard suffer. I wanted him to feel pain unlike anything he’d felt before and feel the humiliation of losing to me.

My mate was quietly watching, observing in the background, her eyes still wide as she watched the scene in front of her.

I was not about to lose and let this asshole get his hands on her again.

Just the mere thought of him trying to touch her made me want to cut his hands off.

Jacob was growing more and more desperate now. He lunged without warning, and I managed to leap onto him my jaws clamping around his neck as he tried to buck me off of him.

It was futile.

I bit down harder, forcing his body to the ground as he continued to flail beneath me.

So weak. So pathetic. How could this man possibly call himself an Alpha? Even my warriors could have easily overtaken him.

It was embarrassing.

He refused to submit, though.
