Chapter 56
Third Person POV
Marissa slowly unfurls herself from the armchair she’s been sitting in, her movements graceful as she stands up straight. She’s already locked the door to Hade’s bedroom as a precaution. She’s bursting with anticipation, her mother’s words of wisdom fresh in her mind. When Hades had sent her shopping, it had been a godsend. She’d used his money to purchase the very things she needed in order to win him over. She was confident that this plan of hers was going to work. It had to, or she would never be able to face her mother again. She couldn’t bear to be a disappointment.
She runs her hands down her body, licking her lips, which are a ruby red. The negligee she’s wearing is a dark red, pure silk, dipping at her cleavage, with a long slit up one side and the gown itself clinging tightly to her every curve. She looks amazing. She looks incredible. She’s even made her makeup look sexy, and her hair tumbles freely down her shoulders. It’s a blatant open invitation, leaving little to the imagination. Any man would be a fool to turn her down. She’s confident that this is going to work and that Hades is finally going to be unable to resist her. Hades stands still, making no move to stop her approaching, and she smiles with triumph, softly walking over to him, swaying her hips back and forth, trying to draw his attention to her. It had worked on so many other men who had always eyed her with looks of pure lust on their faces. Hades would be no different, she was certain of it. All men were the same in her eyes. They all wanted nothing more than to put their cock inside a woman’s pussy, and they didn’t care about anything but their dick in these types of situations.
“Hades,” she purrs, “don’t talk like that. I know it’s your room,” she pouts and flutters her eyelashes at him, “but I’m your fiancée. Surely the rules don’t apply to me now, do they?” she whispers.
She was his fiancée. It was only natural that she have access to his room.
“What is it you want Marissa?” he’s struggling to keep his composure.
He needed to be civil at the very least. But the urge to simply throw her bodily from the room is strong. He’s never liked women who threw themselves at him, and Marissa was doing exactly the same thing. It
only lessened her in his eyes.
He wants her. She can tell. No man in his right mind would refuse something so tempting, standing right in front of him there for the taking. She puts her weight on one leg, causing the slit to rise higher. Her creamy thigh is fully exposed. She runs a hand across her chest, moaning softly.
