Rejected, Abused, I Fall for the Forbidden Alpha (by Riley Scott) novel Chapter 85

Chapter 85

She refuses to answer. I smile and raise the whip again, hitting her over and over, listening to the sounds of her screams and cries. It’s like music to my ears. I feel a sense of great satisfaction. I only stop when she’s covered in blood. By then she’s sobbing profusely.

“Stop,” she whimpered, begging me, unable to bear the pain I was inflicting on her.

She’s never experienced such pain before, but she had always gladly dished it out, not just to me but to other innocent pack members.

I put the whip down reluctantly, knowing I can’t kill her, that would only make all the fun I had planned for her disappear.

“Why are you doing this? How can you bear to hurt me, your own flesh and blood,” she tries to guilt-trip

Little does she know that I know the truth and that she’s not my biological mother at all. I smile grimly at her. “Shouldn’t that work both ways? If you are my mother then how could you bear to hurt your own daughter?”

Silence. She tugs at the restraints again, her mouth opening wide as she realizes the futility of it.

“Did you think I didn’t notice?” I asked icily, “Or that I was stupid? The moment I knew you were going to be at that shop today I knew you were up to no good. I saw the way you and Marissa looked at each other. I saw that there were two limousines. I know you’ve been visiting another pack regularly, and I know that there’s a large amount of money that’s been transferred to you. Tell me mother,” I folded my arms across my chest, “how much was I worth?”

“What do you mean?” she gasped, pretending to be ignorant.

She wasn’t a very good liar or even good at maintaining a poker face.
