I was sent to the dungeon in the basement of the pack house.

I remained silent the entire way there.

I can’t believe my own brother would say those things to me…after I told him the truth.

I am dragged into the Solstice Dungeon, one of the cruelest dungeons in the pack.

Only rogues and vampires are brought here….for torture.

I am thrown inside by Zack.

“The Alpha will be here. Don’t move,” he sneers before walking away, locking the door behind him.

This place is unbearably hot. There is only one tiny window, barely large enough to let in any air.

Silver chains glisten with wolfsbane in the dim light.

A few seconds later, the door bursts open, and Zander steps inside.

His eyes glow bright yellow….I know it’s Atlas trying to take control.

“You need to let me go, Zander. I have no business being here. My life, my career… everything is at stake,” I tell

him.

He chuckles darkly.

“Oh, you aren’t going anywhere, little mate. You’re not allowed to leave me again,” his voice is deep, dangerous.

“Atlas, please,” I plead, my voice shaking. “I am no longer your mate. I accepted your rejection. The bond broke. You marked Sansa. Averia doesn’t have a connection with you anymore.”

“The bond was never broken, little mate,” they both say at the same time.

My breath catches.

“What do you mean?” I whisper. “I accepted your rejection. You marked my freaking sister!”

“Yeah, I did,” he says casually. “The bond might have been broken emotionally, but spiritually? It never was.”

I scoff. “And what the hell is that supposed to mean? There’s no such thing as a spiritual bond!”

“You are still my mate. You never accepted my rejection under a full moon,” he sneers, “meaning the Moon Goddess never severed our bond.”

“I am not your mate! You marked my sister!” I spit furiously.

“I did. And I never regretted it. I would do it again in a heartbeat..!” he sneers.

“Then why do you want me here? You got what you wanted! I’m out of your damn life!” I yell.

He lets out a bitter laugh.

He stops at the doorway, turning back with a cruel smirk.

“Rogue punishment. No mercy.”

Then he walks out, leaving me alone with them.

The female warriors seize my arms as I thrash, trying to break free.

Silver chains burn like acid against my skin.

Wolfsbane can kill a wolf in minutes.

Rogue punishment.

Which means they’re going to beat me mercilessly-without even letting me fight back.

Once Zack locks my hands in place, a bloodcurdling scream rips from my throat.

It burns like hell.

“This is going to be fun,” the pixie-cut warrior smirks, her eyes flashing white. Her wolf is trying to surface.
