Chapter 110 The King Arrives
With that, Amelia turned and walked out of the office.
The more twisted Sophia gets, the more fun this is going to be.
Sophia stood there, confused. What did she just say? She likes that I’m twisted?
Is she actually insane?!
Whatever. She’s finished. No one survives an expulsion like this.

The school was quickly funneled into the Assembly Hall. Fabian took the stage, his voice heavy with fake disappointment.
“Regarding the cheating scandal involving Amelia Bennett… the administration has decided on immediate expulsion. But before she goes, Amelia will apologize to the student body and admit to her fraud!
“Let this be a lesson to you all! Don’t follow in her footsteps!”
Backstage, the Dean shoved a pre–written confession into Amelia’s hand. “Read it exactly as it’s written. Don’t try anything funny, you hear me?”
Amelia glanced at the paper and gave a noncommittal hum.
The Dean still didn’t trust her. He walked onto the stage right behind her, hovering like a prison guard.
Amelia stood at the podium, looking down at the sea of students. She looked perfectly at ease. “I deny all charges of cheating. Principal Fabian Evans never gave me a chance to prove my innocence; he just threatened me until I agreed to stand here. I don’t confess to anything!”
With that, Amelia tore the confession into a dozen pieces.
Ronald’s face turned green. “Amelia! You’re out of control!”
“I’m not a cheater,” Amelia shouted over the growing murmurs. “Are we back in the dark ages where you can just force a confession out of someone?”
The crowd erupted into hushed arguments. Fabian’s head was pounding.
“Clearly she’s unrepentant! Security, get her off the stage! Process the expulsion immediately!”
He had to get her down. If she kept talking, she’d expose everything.
As the guards moved in, a student stood up in the middle of the hall. “If there’s doubt, let her retake the test right here, in front of everyone! Why won’t you give her a chance, Principal Evans?”
It was Glenn Sterling.
He trusted Sebastian, and by extension, he trusted Amelia.
Sebastian wasn’t here, so Glenn had to be the one to protect her dignity.

“Glenn Sterling is backing her? What is going on? Did she actually not cheat?”
“If the valedictorian says she’s clean, why is Fabian so desperate to kick her out? Something’s fishy.”
The whispers were turning into a riot. Fabian was panicking, but he couldn’t just ignore Glenn Sterling.
He tried a middle ground. “We’ll discuss a retake tomorrow! Guards, get her down!”
If I can get her in a private room tomorrow, I can fail her no matter what she writes!
She has to go!
Just then, a deep, commanding voice boomed from the side entrance. “The Principal certainly likes to throw his weight around, doesn’t he?”
Sebastian walked in, his suit impeccable and his expression lethal. He marched right up to Fabian, looming over the man with an icy glare.
Fabian’s knees actually started to shake. He couldn’t even look Sebastian in the eye.
“Mr. Sterling! I… I didn’t know you were coming! Welcome!”
The man looked like he was about to faint.
He hadn’t heard a single word about Sebastian Sterling visiting today!
The students went wild. The hall was filled with ear–piercing screams. “Oh my god! It’s Sebastian Sterling! He’s actually here!”
“He’s even hotter than his photos! I think I’m gonna pass out!”
Sebastian almost never allowed his face to be in the media. The only way to see him was on a high–end finance channel or in a business magazine.
Most of these girls were from wealthy families, but they’d never seen the King of Kingsley in person.
Sophia couldn’t hide her excitement. she ran onto the stage, eager to play her part.
“Sebastian! Please, don’t be too mad about Mel’s cheating. She didn’t mean it. Let her just go home and reflect on it.”
She acted like a shy, devoted fiancé, completely ignoring the terrifying aura coming off him.
