Chapter 117 The Billion–Dollar Bait
Finished
Silas Harrington was in his fifties, balding with greasy white hair and a smile that revealed a row of rotting yellow teeth.
His creepy little eyes scanned Amelia’s body like a predator; Amelia felt a chill, knowing exactly what was happening.
She was their flesh and blood, yet they were actually selling her to a fifty–year–old creep like Silas?
Amelia had held onto a tiny bit of hope that they were just brainwashed by Sophia and would eventually snap out of it.
I was wrong. So freaking wrong.
These people are wolves in suits. Even if they knew they were wrong, they’d still drive me off a cliff for a check.
“Sure! I’d love to show Uncle Silas around.”
Amelia’s sweet smile made Silas’s skin crawl with excitement; he set his drink down, forgetting everything else.
“Good girl. I might just have a special little gift for you later.”
William hadn’t lied. Amelia was a goddess–curves in all the right places and skin like porcelain. She was better than any of his mistresses.
The way she filled out that dress made his blood boil. If they weren’t in a room full of people, he’d have pinned her to a wall right then.
“Hold on a second.”
Nydia Harrington felt the bad vibes. “Silas, you’re fifty years old. Why have a girl show you around? Have one of the boys do it.”
Nydia knew Silas was a snake who had a sick obsession with young women; every girl he touched ended up broken.
Amelia had saved her father–in–law, and Nydia wasn’t about to let Silas ruin her.
“Relax, Nydia. I’m no saint, but what could I possibly do to her?”
“That remains to be seen. She’s Sebastian Sterling’s fiancé. I’d suggest you remember who you’re dealing with.”
Nydia tried to use Sebastian’s name to back him off.
Sure enough, Silas flinched at the name. But before he could back out, Amelia chimed in.
“Mrs. Harrington, it’s fine. I’m just showing him the garden. You guys keep chatting.”
Amelia gave Silas a dazzling smile. “This way, Silas. The garden is beautiful this time of year.”

Chapter 117 The Billion Dollar Bart
Finished
The creep was so blinded by lust that he forgot all about Sebastian Sterling. He practically salivated as he followed her out.
The second they were gone, a smug grin touched Sophia’s lips.
Oh, Amelia. Once Silas gets his hands on you, you’re as good as dead.
Silas wasn’t just a pervert; he was a pro at using drugs and threats to get what he wanted.
Once he set his sights on her, Amelia didn’t have a prayer of getting away.
In the garden, Amelia led the way while Silas followed close behind, rubbing his sweaty palms together.
Once they reached a secluded corner where no one was around, Silas lunged forward and pinned her into the shadows.
“You slut. You like me, don’t you? Why else would you bring me to such a quiet little spot?”
Amelia faked a look of pure terror. “Silas, what are you doing?”
“What am I doing? I’m going to show you a real good time, you little slut!”
His breath was rancid; Amelia wrinkled her nose and tried to look small. “I’m the future Mrs. Sterling! You can’t do this!”
“Hahaha! William already sold you to me for a billion. He told me I could do whatever I wanted with you— even kill you.
“But looking at you, killing you would be such a waste. Imagine Sebastian’s face when I tell him I had you first?”
Amelia had what she needed. She hit the ‘save‘ button on her digital recorder in her pocket.
“The Bennetts are so mean to me. If you promise to be nice, I’ll go with you. Just don’t beat me like your other wives, okay?”
Amelia looked up at him with big, watery eyes; Silas felt his heart hammer. He was about to lean in when Alexander appeared nearby.
“Amelia? Where are you? Amelia!”
