It was obvious this woman knew exactly what Sebastian was capable of and wanted the job done fast.

But Derek was a cocky prick who didn’t take orders well. “Sebastian Sterling bankrupted my family, threw my old man in a cage, and turned me into a fugitive. I’m not stopping until I drag him here.”

“Sebastian is out of your league. Don’t be a damn idiot!”

“Shut up!” Derek roared, grabbing her by the throat. “If you weren’t useful, I’d have my way with you too. Now get lost!”

The woman was shoved to the ground, her sunglasses skittering across the concrete, revealing eyes full of hate and terror.

“You’re gonna regret that, Derek!”

She scrambled up and bolted for her luxury car, peeling out of the lot.

One look at those spiteful eyes was all Amelia needed. Sophia. Who else could it be?

Suddenly, Amelia’s phone started buzzing on the table.
