Amelia played innocent. “What dirty trick? If the Sterling Group thinks the evidence is fake, go ahead and run a full audit of all your profits with Harrington over the years to prove it.”

The lawyer gritted his teeth. “You… you did this on purpose! You knew damn well…”

Sterling’s business with Harrington over the years was a massive, tangled web of regional operations and financials. A full audit would take centuries!

And even if they did crunch the numbers, they couldn’t exactly expose all their shady, under- the–table deals in public!

Amelia’s move was absolutely vicious. Sebastian had to agree, even if he didn’t want to!

Amelia crossed her arms, watching them squirm with a cocky attitude. “I knew what? How is this playing dirty? I submitted evidence. Your defense team was free to submit counter- evidence.”

The lawyer was so pissed he couldn’t form a sentence. He clutched his chest and collapsed into his colleague’s arms, practically having a stroke.

The lawyers panicked, but not a single one dared to curse at Amelia. She was their boss’s fiancée -potentially their future boss lady! Who had the balls to cross her?

Amelia confidently strutted right past them in her heels, dramatically flipping her high ponytail. “Rookies. You’ve still got a lot to learn.”

Hearing that, the lawyer practically spit blood. The rest of the team screamed in panic, “Call 911!”

Amelia hummed a tune and walked over to Cyrus. “Let’s roll, Mr. Harrington.”

Cyrus couldn’t help but laugh. He stood up, playing along. “Let’s go. I’m buying lunch. You did me a massive favor, after all.”

A free meal was a free meal. Staying true to her practical nature, Amelia happily agreed.
