“Ryan said the Boss has been suffering from insomnia. He’s barely slept and has been living on stimulants. Please, Miss Bennett, help him.”
Amelia’s heart wrenched with pain. She gently stroked his soft hair.
“You idiot.”
From now on, she would fix his sleep schedule. She wouldn’t let him suffer like this anymore.
Amelia had the driver circle the outskirts of Kingsley, only arriving at the headquarters exactly when the meeting was about to start.
‘Miss Bennett, we’ve arrived.”
‘Okay.”
Amelia ran her fingers through Sebastian’s hair and whispered into his ear. “Sebastian, we’re here.”
She called his name softly, but he didn’t move.
‘s he out that cold?
She reached out to nudge him, but before her hand touched him, his eyes snapped open.
‘Hm?”
His eyes were half–closed and heavy with sleep. He was clearly exhausted.
Amelia looked into his deep gaze, her heart racing. Realizing she was still sitting in his lap, a blush crept
across her cheeks.
Uh, your company. You said you had a meeting.”
The meeting must be important, or he wouldn’t be dragging himself here in this state.
‘Right.”
Sebastian gave a lazy reply, but his hands stayed firmly on her waist. He had zero intention of letting go.
They locked eyes, and Amelia said awkwardly, “Should I… get up?”
“Hm?” Sebastian’s lips curled into a playful smirk as he watched her blush.
Amelia was becoming flustered by his teasing.
“Let go of me!” she snapped.
Seeing the kitten starting to bite, Sebastian laughed. “Fine.”
But as he let go, he didn’t miss the chance to give her waist a firm squeeze.

Amelia glared at him through gritted teeth as she climbed back into her seat.
She rubbed her sore tailbone and huffed. “You’re going in like that?”
“Why not?”
Sebastian’s narrow eyes were full of mirth as he watched her.
Amelia pointed at the bright red lipstick marks on his white shirt. “Maybe have Ryan bring you a change of clothes first?”
If he went in like this, it would totally ruin his cold, untouchable CEO image.
‘No time. It’s fine.”
Sebastian opened the door and stepped out with his long legs, then thoughtfully opened the door for Amelia.
‘Come on. Wait for me in the office. We’ll grab dinner after the meeting.”
Amelia couldn’t say no, but she also couldn’t bear to look at his shirt.
When the “ravaged” Sebastian stepped into the elevator, even Ryan froze in shock.
His eyes bounced between the two of them.
My god! The Boss and Miss Bennett really went for it in the car!
He was glad he’d stayed behind to deal with Lucas; otherwise, he would have been the one stuck in that car is a third wheel!
Amelia, visiting the headquarters for the first time, had the sense to wear a mask and sunglasses.
When the elevator hit the 26th floor and Sebastian led her out, the entire floor’s attention was instantly
aser–focused on them.
The head secretary, Natalie Windsor, saw the boss and hurried forward with a stack of files. “Mr. Sterling, the board is waiting for—”
She stopped mid–sentence, her brain short–circuiting as she saw the lipstick marks on his collar.
The Boss and this girl…
Ahhh!
Sebastian was famous in the capital for being a monk; no matter how many beautiful women were thrown at him, he never looked twice.
Natalie assumed he was just too busy for romance.
But what was this?!
