Brittany went pale, trying to wrench her hand away. “Forget it! Why should I go anywhere with you? You’re a slut trying to take me down with you!”

“Brittany, are you really gonna take the fall for Sophia?” Amelia laughed.

“Shut up! I didn’t do anything!” Brittany insisted, though her face told a different story.

“If you’re innocent, let’s check the tapes. If you did it, I’m suing you for defamation.”

Time to give them a taste of their own medicine.

Suddenly, someone in the crowd spoke up: “Yeah, why not go? If it’s fake, someone needs to clear the air.”

Other students who’d been bullied by Brittany joined in. “If she posted them, she better have proof he’s a sugar daddy. Photos can be edited!”

“Exactly! Let’s go to the security room!”

The tide was turning. People were actually taking Amelia’s side this time.

Brittany looked at Sophia for help, but Sophia looked away, completely ignoring her.

“Brittany, just go with her. It’s for the best.”

Sophia was trapped. Normally, Amelia would have run off and cried, but the girl was acting like she was enjoying this.

Amelia dragged a terrified Brittany to the security room, followed by half the school.

The footage didn’t take long to find.

At 5:30 AM, a girl was caught on camera posting the photos.

It was Brittany. Clear as day.

Amelia crossed her arms and leaned back. “Well, look at that. Surprise, surprise.”

“It really was her! She’s Sophia’s lapdog. Why would she be so mean to Sophia’s sister?”

“Maybe Sophia told her to do it? It makes sense.”

I mean, Sebastian Sterling was supposed to marry Sophia until Amelia showed up. I’d be jealous too.”

Sophia stood in the crowd, the whispers cutting into her like knives.

She was being dragged through the mud. This was a disaster.

Amelia stood there, giving Brittany a slow, mocking standing ovation in front of everyone.

“You’re a loyal little dog, aren’t you? But did Sophia tell you who actually owns that car?”

Brittany shook her head, then nodded. “It belongs to some old guy!”

“Wrong.” Amelia scanned the crowd until she spotted a familiar face.

“Glenn, come in here and tell her who that car belongs to.”

Glenn Sterling, the campus valedictorian, was suddenly put on the spot. He blushed instantly.

He’d been watching from the back, debating whether to call Sebastian. He didn’t expect Amelia to call him out by name.

The crowd parted as Glenn walked in, causing a wave of gasps.

“Oh my god, it’s Glenn Sterling!”

“The genius actually watches drama?”

Glenn kept his head down, walking over to Amelia. “The car belongs to my cousin, Sebastian. He took Amelia to the manor for dinner the other night. I was there.”

The room went silent. Then Glenn’s eyes went cold as he looked at Brittany. “The Sterling family will be taking legal action for defamation.”

“What?! It was Sebastian Sterling’s car? I thought they broke up!”
