She Quit Her Family and Found Herself novel Chapter 357

The man's voice was like a lifeline, instantly parting the dark clouds of panic closing in on Hulda.

Hulda stared at Caspian, a complex emotion flickering in her eyes before she simply murmured, "Thank you."

She threw her backpack over her shoulder and hurried straight out the door.

When they reached the parking area outside the guesthouse, an SUV was already waiting with the engine running. Standing by the driver's side door was none other than Dylan.

Seeing Hulda approach with Caspian, he quickly pulled the door open. "Ms. Atherton, get in."

Abby, Dr. Lynch, and the rest of the team had followed Hulda out to see her off. Watching the car pull away, they let out a collective sigh of relief and worry.

"What a nightmare. How does a kid just vanish into thin air?" Dr. Lynch muttered.

"You don't think he got upset about something and ran away from home, do you?" Caleb guessed.

"Let's just pray he's safe," Abby said, her eyes filled with heartache as she watched the taillights fade into the distance. Suddenly, her naturally overactive brain latched onto a completely different detail.

How on earth did the boss manage to book those train and flight tickets so fast?

How did he have the Director's ID info on hand to book them in the first place?

The mountain roads at night were treacherous, and wild animals occasionally darted across the path. Because of this, no matter how much of a rush they were in, Dylan couldn't drive too fast.

By the time Hulda boarded her flight, the sky was already beginning to lighten with the dawn.

When the plane finally touched down in Aldercy City, it was already noon the next day.

The second Hulda stepped off the plane, she broke into a near sprint toward the exit.
