Olivia let out a soft sigh, and she said regretfully “It’s all my fault. If I’d known that Liana would hate me moving in so much, I never should have come. And now, I’ve caused a conflict between you and her. I feel so terrible.”

Olivia’s gentle and considerate act caused some of the irritation inside Logan to fade, only to be replaced with a sense of helplessness.

He sighed. “It’s not your fault. Liana’s just too petty and narrow-minded.”

As he said that, he recalled the scene at Liana’s shabby little villa.

That woman actually dared to threaten to call the police and reporters.

She was completely unreasonable.

Compared to Olivia, who was so gentle, kind, and understanding, they were night and day.

Noticing Logan’s darkening expression, Olivia said pitifully, “But Liana hasn’t been home for several days now. I’m really worried about her. What if something happens when she’s all

alone outside?”

“Her?” Logan let out a cold snort.

He said sarcastically, “You don’t need to worry about her. She’s very bold right now. Not only did she quit her job, but she even dared to take on Lucinda’s divorce case secretly!”

“What?” The color instantly drained from Olivia’s face, and she almost dropped the glass in

her hand.
