Aidan, seething with anger, charged forward again, aiming a kick at Seraphina’s stomach.

“Be careful!” Ronald exclaimed in alarm.

However, Seraphina swiftly spun around and delivered a powerful kick, sending Aidan crashing to the ground. The pain made him curl up in agony.

Jane and the appraiser hurried forward to stop him from attacking again.

“Miss Seraphina, let’s go back and discuss this calmly,” Jane advised, glancing around in embarrassment.

The appraiser helped Aidan up from the floor, who was still in pain.

Seraphina then turned to Ronald. “I apologize on behalf of the Whitewood Family, and I hope you won’t hold this incident against him.”

“Miss Seraphina, you’re too kind,” he replied with a smile.

On the way back in the car, the atmosphere was tense, and everyone looked grim. Even the driver dared not make a sound.

Seraphina scoffed, “That’s your precious son, throwing money around in a fit of temper, acting all grand and heroic just to win a bet. Afterward, he even went and attacked someone. Well, thanks to him, the Whitewood Group is now famous–famous for all the wrong reasons.”

Her words cut sharply, pushing Oberon’s blood pressure higher.

He turned to Jane. “Is this true?”

Jane nodded, confirming the situation.

Oberon grabbed a pen holder from the desk and threw it at Aidan. The object struck Aidan in the chest, making him wince in pain, but he dared not say anything.
