FREYA POV

His eyes meet mine as he dug his tongue in. He knew I needed him just as much as he needed me. He pulled his face away and slipped his finger.in, using his thumb to rub my c***t.

“Please.” I begged. It felt like I’d break down and cry if he didn’t take me right now. I sat up a little watching his every move.

He stayed quiet but pulled me up to a sitting position with my legs still open for him, he never stopped finger f*****g me. He kissed me and brought my hand down to his shaft.

I eagerly began to stroke him, making myself more excited the more I felt his already hard c**k getting harder. He pulled my hair lightly back so my eyes would come up to his.

His pace grew and mine followed suit. Staring into his eyes I could feel my climax building. It wasn’t enough. As if he could read my mind, without pulling his eyes away from mine, he slipped another finger in.

I fell back on my bed and he laid down next to me. We both laid there breathing as the haze began to calm down.

I still wanted this man. The haze was over for us but my body wanted to climb on top of him and ride him until I couldn’t support my weight anymore.

I stood and began cleaning myself off. I needed to cool down and breathe for a minute to gain control of myself. I went back to the bed and laid next to him. Laying there naked with him just felt right.

I closed my eyes and began remembering what happened before. That man that crashed in here.

It took Colt a long time to get here. I’m glad he got here though, I cringe just thinking of what would have happened if he hadn’t.

“Colt?” I ask, my voice finally coming back to me, “Where were you?”

He sighed, causing me to open my eyes and look at him. He looked upset.

“I went to my room when the alpha meeting finally ended. I just wanted to see if she’d left.” He closed his eyes and his brows furrowed, he was mad. “She didn’t. Instead she walked out of my bathroom naked and wet.”

I sat up, still watching him.

“The haze hit right as she walked out.” I hated where this was going and I felt myself wanting to stand up and run away.

He sat up quickly like he could feel what I was thinking. “Nothing happened Freya.” he said trying to reassure me.

“Then what took you so long, Colt?” I stood. “It doesn’t take that long to get from the pack house to here.”

He started giving me this sorry look like he knew he couldn’t lie his way out of this. I grabbed my dress off the floor and began putting it on.

“Freya, please believe me. Nothing happened!” he began begging.

“If nothing happened, then why haven’t you told me what took so long?” I said through my teeth, fighting my emotions as I fought my clothes to do as I wanted and get on my body before I lost control of my emotions.

He grabbed my arms and made me stop to look at him.

“The haze hit, before I knew it she jumped on me and wrapped her legs around me. She started trying to kiss me and I kept trying to pry her off of me.” He watched my reaction so far, realizing that it was painful for me to hear.

“I got her off me. Told her I was going to you, and she’d better be gone when we went back there today before the battles.” he studied me as I took it all in.

“Did you just say we?” I asked after a minute. Why was that what I hung on to?

“Well, before I broke down your door I wanted to ask you to come be with me in the pack house.” he sighed and rubbed his neck.

“Why would I do that?” I asked.

He looked at me with a puzzling look on his face, almost like he was deciding if he should tell me something.

He decided I guess, because he stood and wrapped his hand around the base of my head and kissed me. Not just a light kiss, a full passionate kiss that lit a fire in me.

I winced a little as he pulled away.

“I know it’s too early for you and no part of me is wanting to push this on you.” he continued as he led me back to sit on the bed, “I want you Freya. I want to wake up to you, I want to fall asleep next to you. I want to begin this life with you.” he kept studying me as I processed the things he said.

“You’re my mate. I know you’ll eventually come to the conclusion that I’ve already come to.” he placed his hand on my leg. “When that damned woman stood there and the haze hit and she jumped on me I knew the goddess was more than right.”

I have him a confused look. Exactly how does one come to that conclusion while another naked and wet woman is throwing themselves at you.

“She disgusted me, Freya.” he said looking like he just bit into a rotten apple. “I couldn’t get her off of me fast enough. I shifted and ran to you as fast as I could.” his look turned into fury rather quickly as he looked at my door.

‘She almost caused me to be too late to protect you.” he said through his teeth. “Never again, Freya.” it almost looked like he would cry. “Never again.” he said again.

After a few moments gathering my thoughts I stood and started packing up.

He watched me for a minute then asked what I was doing.

I stopped for a second and looked at him, “I’m going with you. Maybe you’re right, Colt.” I started packing again. “Maybe I am made for you, and you for me. Maybe the moon goddess knows what she’s doing mating us. Maybe.”

He stood and smiled.

‘I still have concerns about this Colt. I’m not sure how this adjustment to your lifestyle is going to be for me. I still have concerns about the rumors about you. I still have concerns about this woman that’s been staying in your room every night.” I continued, gosh I unpacked a lot of crap.

‘I do know that every moment I’m with you my whole being is drawn to you. When I’m not with you my body craves you.” I scoffed a little “and we haven’t even had s*x yet!” I closed my suitcase when everything was in it.

“But I’ll never know if I don’t try to let it happen.”

I walked over to the broken door motioning for him to walk out, “Lead the way to my new home.”
