****Trigger Warning****
Colt got dressed and I showered. That run in with Aiden reminded me that I need to have a word with my parents. When I got out and dressed Colt walked down with me to eat. I really wasn’t hungry so I grabbed a sausage link and toast with coffee.
“I can tell you’re stressed, but with the way this haze has been you need to eat.” Colt said sternly. So I grabbed another sausage link and some toast. He still wasn’t happy but it shut him up.
Jessi and Levi came to sit with us, I caught Jessi up on everything. She never heard the story of how the pack started either. She admitted she was worried about Aiden though, said he’s been telling everyone that this is going to be his pack after this fight.
Levi said he’s had to talk a couple people down from fighting him already today. I’m not sure why, but this made Colt laugh.
When I finished I told Colt I’d meet him back here if the haze hit, and then I left to go find my parents. They were still in their hut, thankfully. I said hi and cut to the chase.
“Mother, were you Big Sky before you married dad?” I asked, boldly.
“Yes.” she wasn’t trying to hide it.
“Why didn’t you ever say so?” I was a little upset that she’d never mentioned this before.
“My parents were killed just before I met your father. When I learned that I was mated to a man outside of Big Sky I took that as my chance to escape my pain. I never had a reason to return.” my mom’s pain in her voice hurt me. I can’t imagine losing my parents.
After taking that in, I asked my dad about how the pack started.
“She wants to know if she’s pure Big Sky Harland.” my mom said.
“Yes, and you are alpha descendent.” my father said.
“What does that mean?” I feel like I’m asking 20 questions here.
“You’re very powerful, Freya. Not to mention mating with another pure blood and alpha descendent. Your power could very well exceed what even we imagined if you’re fully mated once your Luna powers are given to you after your ceremony.” my mother informed me.
Is that the surge of power that I felt when we marked each other?
“Why aren’t you guys super powerful then?” I asked.
“We are second chance mates. Our bond is not as strong because we both had mates before us.” my mom sighed “That’s a story for another time.”
We continued talking about this for a while. I learned a lot about my parents and my pack that I didn’t before.
I left feeling more confused than when I got there. I decided I’d walk back to the house and get my painting stuff out of the room. I haven’t painted since I got here. With everything going on I just haven’t had a chance to calm down long enough to think about it.
On my way back to the house I spotted Jasmine and Aiden talking. I wasn’t aware they knew each other, but I guess maybe they did. There seems to be a lot I don’t know lately so then knowing each other maybe doesn’t seem as odd as I originally thought.
I got my painting stuff from the house and I left again, when I thought about something to paint the biggest thing that came to me was the river. I haven’t enjoyed it as much as I should, I love the water and everything about the river calls to me.
I set up at one of the parts with rapids. They’re so beautiful, when you’re not in them. The pine trees surrounding it make it a stunning image.
I sat there and painted, pondering life and all this new information I’ve learned. A few hours passed and I started feeling incredibly hot. I initially thought I just needed to go for a swim, but after a moment I realized it was the haze.
This was far beyond any normal haze. The fact that it’s hit 2 times a day every single day since it started is outrageous. We’re five days in and there’s no sign of it letting up before the week ends.
I looked at my painting stuff and figured I could come back for it after. I told Colt I’d meet him at the pack house so I turned to start going, but was stopped by the man in front of me.
“Mmm I bet you taste good.” Aiden said, licking his lips.
“Get out of my way Aiden, go find your season match.” I snarled at him.
“Why would I do that when my Luna is right here?” he chuckled devilishly.
I turned to go the other way and he grabbed me around the waist picking me up. He took a couple of steps with me kicking and flailing before he tossed me against a tree. The bark cut the skin on my back, I could smell the blood.
It became obvious he wasn’t going to let me go. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.
“That’s right baby, just take it.” he said, his voice making me feel like I had slime all over me.
A rage came through me I’ve never felt before. When I opened my eyes his expression changed, he looked confused. I saw Stella in my mind’s eye, her eyes were fully glowing. I pushed him off me and it felt like pushing a blanket off me, like there was no weight to him at all.
He fell back against a tree with a large crack sound. I began running to the pack house. When I got there Colt was coming out, going to look for me I assume.
We went to our room quickly, he turned to close the door and when he turned I jumped into his arms, kissing him. He picked me up by my a*s and I wrapped my legs around him. We didn’t make it to the bed, he sat me down on the table next to the window and let his member free, I hiked my skirt up and welcomed him with wide open legs.
He slid into me with a husky groan and I threw my head back. I leaned back, placing my hands on the table behind me for balance. He picked one of my legs up and placed it over his shoulder, this angle hit another spot and I could feel my climax building quickly.
“Not yet, Freya.” he commanded.
I growled in frustration, but him commanding me like that turned me on more.
My moans were getting louder, my p***y was clenching down on him, my body was quivering from the pleasure.
I could feel him getting close, “Now Freya, now.” It was an order, and one I was happy to obey.
He stayed there in me for a moment longer as I sat up and kissed him. He pulled out and I got off the table and walked over to the bed.
He sat next to me.
“I can feel your emotions Freya. You were scared when you got here, now you’re angry and sad. What happened?” he asked, the concern evident in his voice.
“He tried to force himself on me Colt.” I tried to keep my calm, but the anger and worry I felt made my voice crack.
“When the haze hit I went to leave the river and he stopped me.” then I remembered the power I felt and what my parents told me.
“I’m going to kill him tonight, Freya.” Colt growled with his fists clenched.
