FREYA POV
Today’s our wedding day. I’m incredibly excited! Generally speaking, we would spend the day apart because of tradition. Big Sky is a pack of tradition. However, the never ending haze makes that impossible.
We’re going to do our best, but we’re not miracle workers, yet anyways. The medicine the healers gave me basically made me sleep most of the day yesterday, but I do feel much better.
Colt doesn’t want me working on my abilities today or tomorrow for the wedding and the ceremony, but my father’s been working on it. He’s making progress but he’s not getting much further than I did before I stopped for these couple of days.
I woke up bright and early, could hardly sleep with the excitement. I’m about to be Luna. I woke Colt up in the middle of the night realizing I didn’t even know his last name.
He laughed, “Most people don’t.”
I sighed, “Well come on now, what is my last name going to be?”
“Part of me wants to make you wait until they tell you during the wedding ceremony since you woke me up.” he chuckled very sleepily. “Bennett, my love.” he lightly kissed me. “Now get some sleep.”
Freya Bennett. I could get very used to that. Sounds a bit better than Freya Edwards. I’ll never tell my father that though, he admires his last name.
Jessi woke early too. She mind linked me while I was showering.
“Wake up b***h! We’ve got a wedding to get ready for!” she screamed in my head. Scared the s**t out of me!
“Goddess Jessi! You trying to kill me before I get to walk down the aisle?”
I met her downstairs, she wanted to have a cup of coffee and go over today’s plans since I was pretty much out the last couple of days.
She caught me up on the battles, we’re still going through the gammas right now. Betas will be soon and then it will be Alphas. Colt only went when he did because Aiden challenged him. He may very well have to battle again, but watching him against Aiden and the rogues has given me confidence in his abilities.
Jessi is worried about Levi, I can’t blame her. I was a wreck before Colt fought Aiden.
My nerves are a wreck today too, but this time it’s in a great way. We are going to go get dressed and then meet up to get our hair done, lunch, make up and then the wedding is at 4.
The first haze of the day hit as I was walking back up to our room. It felt like a switch went off in my head, I could feel it hit and then I couldn’t take the next step the way I was trying. The haze was fully controlling me and I felt helpless.
Thankfully, I was right next to the room so my body still went to our room, but there for a second I found myself worried that it might go somewhere else.
He was ruthless, but every part of me loved it. The pain he caused me felt magical and before I knew it the haze was diminishing and Colt was back to being his tender loving self.
I may have already showered, but I needed another one after that. Which was fine to me, Colt joined. I loved washing him and letting him wash me.
Jessi met me down in the lounge and we went off to Amber’s shop. She doesn’t do hair, but a friend of hers does and she agreed to meet us to make sure our hair matched our dresses in elegance.
Once the hair was done I felt like I could eat a whole moose to myself! We rushed back to the pack house, careful to not disrupt our hair. I hurried to our room, but stopped when I saw Colt’s office door open. He was sitting at his desk, looking incredibly handsome.
I’m not sure how but I knew the haze was about to start and decided I wanted to try to beat it. I closed his office door behind me and locked it. I walked over to him hiking up my skirt.
“Goddess how did I get so lucky?” Colt growled through his teeth as he sprung his member free.
Right as I was sliding down onto him the haze hit. I felt our control leave our bodies, but he was already inside of me so his hands were at my hips guiding my rhythm. The chair of his desk is surprisingly sturdy.
I could feel my walls clenching around him as both our climaxes ripped through me. He howled, f**k I loved hearing him howl after being pleased.
“If I didn’t know better, I’d say you knew it was about to hit.” He said as I began to stand.
“I did.” I chuckled. “I could feel it somehow, but not the way you usually feel it. Just a feeling in the pit of my stomach.” I saw my reflection and smiled that my wedding day hair was still perfect.
He stared at me with a very bewildered look, I blew him a kiss and walked out of his office to go put food in this stomach that was making me feel like I hadn’t eaten all day, even though I just ate before getting my hair done.
We met Lila in Jessi’s room. It took her about an hour to do both our make up. She really has an eye for this type of thing. I’m not sure how but we’re already getting to the point where we have to go get our dresses and head to the part of the river where Colt chose to do the wedding.
He picked the perfect place, it’s shaded and everything around it is so green and beautiful. The wildflowers are still bloomed and the water is so perfectly clear.
Jessi and Amber are the only two who’ve seen me in my dress. Jessi got hers on and helped me with mine. Colt had two beautiful bouquets sent to us in my parents hut. As per tradition, before my father walks me down the aisle he is to give me a ring for Colt.
Colt never seemed like the man who wore jewelry let alone flashy jewelry so I was a little nervous about the ring he picked, until he handed it to me.
It was perfect. A simple black band with an engraving “Always Better Together” on the inside of the band. It’s simple, it’s beautiful, and it’s exactly the kind of ring I would have picked for him.
I handed the ring to Jessi and she turned to walk over to the aisle and begin the walk down. My father turned to me smiling.
“I know I made this arrangement and forced you here, I never thought it would play out this way but these past few weeks you’ve been glowing and quickly changing into a Luna this pack is going to be so proud of.” he grabbed my hand.
“Now let’s go show you off to your husband, sweet wolf.” and he kissed my cheek.
“Oh dad, you’re going to make me cry!” I giggled as I fought the tears while we walked over to where he will be escorting me down the aisle.
