It’s been a week of interrogating. So far it’s basically the same story. We’ve talked to a few people in the pack who’ve grown up with pack elders and no one knows where this story has come from about us taking the land from the crow.

It sounds like there will be another attack in our future here, it sounds like this chief, who a few of them agree maybe is going a bit crazy, is very determined to get this land and apparently the way to do it is kill the alpha.

They pretty much believe that if they kill me then the rest of the pack will bow down and leave. It’s clear that these people have no idea how a wolf pack runs, but we agree that it’s probably better that way.

Levi has asked if he can come back to work now, it’s been a few days since they got home

and he was under orders to lay low a bit. I told him to take that up with his woman, seeing as how she’s the one most knowledgeable about the situation having been at the hospitals with him and really probably smarter than us brutes when it comes to that kind of crap.

He didn’t like that. He said she’d never let him back at it. Freya said she’d talk to her to try to get her to better judge these things. After everything with Freya, I completely understand

Jessi’s concerns.

Today we’re going to be training, knowing that they’ll be coming back gives us a pretty good advantage, though we don’t really know when that will be.

As far as those prisoners know, I’m the only one that speaks, and they’re terrified. We’ve had to get rather rough with a couple of them to get them to cooperate, that was enough to get some of them to sing.

As of right now, I have no intentions of letting these people go. I don’t take kindly to being attacked, we left no survivors with the last group that attacked us. We haven’t always been so lucky during battles, generally we lose many on the field. Freya has been a blessing to our people, being able to put a shield around us for even just a few moments gives us a huge advantage in any battle,

I allowed for Levi to sit in during our strategy meeting. All we were doing was sitting and discussing battle so I figured that couldn’t be too tiring on him.

I’m glad I brought him in. Having our minds with Ash’s really helped. I don’t really remember Ash being so forward before, maybe having him be my next hand when Levi was out helped build his confidence.

We came up with a great plan, this one involved more stealth. We have eyes up around the pack already so we’re going to push them out a little farther. They’re going to be about a quarter mile further out with more people filling the gaps. We’re ditching the bells for this time around just because we know it’s coming.

Instead, they will send out a pack wide mind link to alert everyone of the attack. This will give time for women and children to hunker down and the men to gear up for the attack.

Once alerted, all men will head toward the invaders through the trees and on ground. We will know which ways they’re coming from, even if they try to surround us. We’ve ahead moved all our food storage just in case they set fire, now we’re going to make sure all women and older children without wolves where they need to be heading when told of the attack. The children don’t have wolves yet so they will not be able to hear the alert but the men and women will be letting them know.

The older boys that don’t have wolves yet still have weapon and fighting knowledge as it’s taught to our young at rather young ages because of instances like this.

Shall our plan fail and the attack come to them they still need to be able to defend themselves and others.

With the plan set, Levi went back to Jessi and the rest of us head out to the warriors and basically rehearsed and trained in combat to make sure everyone was good and ready.

Our pack isn’t the biggest, but we can surely slaughter whoever dares hurt our pack.

I took a break to go eat like everyone else, I went up to the room to see Freya but she wasn’t there.

“Where are you?” I mind linked her to ask.

“Training.” Is all she said.

“Take a break with me?” I asked, I’ve been hoping to get with her on this too because as much as I hate the idea of her battling and something happening to her I can’t bench my Luna, my men won’t fight as well.

“Be there in 5.” She said, quickly.

I asked one of the kitchen staff to bring food up here so I could chat with her about how I would like to see this go, and maybe get her input.

She walked in as Chay was dropping off our food, and my member instantly stood tall. She was in very short shorts, a crop top, and her hair pulled up. She was sweating and barefoot, looking like she’d taken a couple punches. She also looked like maybe the other guy looked worse. I can’t tell you why this aroused me so much but damn if I didn’t wanna f**k her on this table right now.

She felt it, her eyes grew darker and I knew it was on.

I stood and she pushed me back down to my seat. Thank goddess Chay closed the door

behind her when she left because Freya had no intention. She quickly shimmied her shorts.

“I was hoping this is what you meant.” She winked at me.
