Mars was overjoyed. “Really? You found a way?”

“Mhm, I asked a few old–school doctors, and there are some home remedies we can try.”

Lydia’s voice was full of heartache. “It hurts me to see you like this, Mars. Come over right away, let’s get you fixed up, okay?”

“Okay! Of course, okay!”

It was a man’s greatest source of pride. Mars hadn’t dared to see a urologist, terrified of being recognized and having his secret leak.

Now, hearing that Lydia had some home remedies, he was ecstatic. “I’m on my way,” he said, then hopped in his car and sped toward Lydia’s villa.

The villa was under Mars’s name. Lydia had been nagging him to transfer the deed to her, but Mars was afraid Autumn would find out and get suspicious about his relationship with Lydia, so he’d never agreed.

Lately, he’d been bouncing between his own apartment and Lydia’s place, and hadn’t been back to the villa he shared with Autumn.

Anyway, Mars thought, Autumn’s not home. It’d be depressing to go back to an empty house. Might as well stay out and have some fun for a few days.

Otherwise, once Autumn was discharged from the hospital, he’d have to go back and show his face every day, then come up with some excuse to get out.

Mars sighed at the thought.

Juggling two relationships was exhausting.

But he loved every minute of it.

Autumn was elegant, poised, and incredibly capable. Plus, she was carrying his child.

And Lydia… she was the one he’d always wanted but could never have. Cute, sexy, a little playful, and completely uninhibited in bed.

Mars didn’t think he was doing anything wrong, so he felt zero guilt.

Lost in thought, he arrived at Lydia’s villa. He quickly got out of the car and hurried to knock on the door.

The door was pulled open almost instantly.

Lydia, dressed in a sheer, sexy nightgown, threw herself into his arms.

“Lydia…”

Mars’s breathing immediately quickened.

But below the belt, there was still no reaction.

Lydia gave him a seductive smile and handed him a glass of water. “No rush. We can take our time.”

Mars obediently drank it, casually set the cup aside, and reached for her.

Lydia used every trick in the book. Before long, Mars started to feel a heat spreading through his body.

The familiar sensation made Mars’s face flush with excitement. “It’s working! I’m really getting better!”

Lydia smiled, pressing her lips to his. “Mars, let’s go to the bedroom~”

Mars clenched his jaw, squeezing Lydia hard. His voice was practically growled through his teeth, “You little vixen, just wait and see what I’m gonna do to you tonight!”

With that, he bent down, swept Lydia into his arms, and strode upstairs.

Bang. The bedroom door slammed shut, completely sealing off the sounds from within.

The chime of a new message pulled Autumn’s attention away from her computer screen.

She picked up her phone and saw it was a message from the private investigator Owen Bennett had

recommended.

Asking for favors gets easier with practice.

Autumn knew that once the mandatory cooling–off period for the divorce was over, there was no way she could hide it from Mars. Knowing his personality, he would absolutely lose it.

So, she decided to prepare in advance.

Autumn swallowed her pride and asked Owen for help again, getting a recommendation for a lawyer and a

Autumn felt a little sick. She forwarded the photos to her lawyer, then sent a payment to the investigator.

Autumn felt a pang of discomfort.

Owen, seemingly tired of texting, started a video call.
