Chapter 105

Leeanne had already received the message.

[Reward distributed. Check out your Invincible Suit. As the firstplace winner of the island hunt, you get a special perk. Choose your set style now.]

A panel appeared on the light screen in front of Leeanne, displaying three Invincible Suit styles.

The first was a common silver armor, reminiscent of an ancient general’s battle gear. The second was an ethereal white gown, floorlength with oversized sleeves and a long flowing scarf.

The third was a red denim outfit, featuring a blackandred striped ribbon in place of a helmet, black ankle boots, and red bead bracelets as wrist guards.

This is it, Leeanne thought, not hesitating for a second as she picked the third set.

Wearing the first set would be way too awkward, Leeanne mused. The second one’s not practical for combat. The third is just right. It looks like everyday clothes, simple and easy to move in, which is perfect for surviving in this world.

She quickly put on the outfit, fastened the red bead bracelets as wrist guards, and tied the ribbon onto her ponytail, finishing it with a neat bow.

Her Constitution, Strength, and Agility all went up by five points.

The outfit was made of soft denim, with a utilitarian style. The top was cropped, and the pants were cargostyle with elastic cuffs. The black ankle boots just covered the cuffs of her pants.

Even though it was denim, the outfit was comfortable and didn’t restrict her movements at all.

Leeanne was really pleased with it.

The outfit was sleek and functional, loaded with pocketstwo on the chest, two on the upper arms, and two each on the sides and thighs of her pants.

That made eight pockets in total.

Moreover, every pocket had a hidden zipper, so she didn’t have to worry about anything slipping out.

Next time she went adventuring, she could stop worrying about storage. These pockets could carry a ton, freeing up a bunch of inventory slots.

Leeanne took a good look at herself in the new gear before finally pulling up her personal stats panel.

[ID: XY90056. Name: Leeanne Dillion. Age: 24. Strength: 13+5. Agility: 16+3. Constitution: 12 5. Class: None. Skills: Basic Trap, Basic Medicine.]

And this was all without even equipping any weapons.

Lecanne was pleased with her stats. When she first entered the game, her Strength, Agility, and Constitution were pathetic figures of 4, 6, and 4, probably even weaker than the average person.

In just ten days, her stats had skyrocketed.

She was confident that hardly anyone in all of District 33 was stronger than her now.

Leeanne closed her stats panel with a satisfied expression and stretched herself.

She looked forward to the district merge and wondered when the merge announcement would drop.

Leeanne glanced at the clock. She’d been running around all morning, and now it was already ten. She still hadn’t grabbed breakfast.

No wonder my stomach keeps rumbling, she thought to herself.

Leeanne suddenly remembered that the dough for the fried doughnuts was still fermenting.

She hurried over and saw that the dough on the small stainlesssteel tray had nearly tripled in size.

Time to fry up some doughnuts, Leeanne thought.

She grabbed her cutting board, gave the dough a couple of quick kneads, then rolled it out into a thin sheet about half an inch thick. She cut it into rounds, stacked them up, and left them to rise again.

This second rise only took about ten minutes, so Leeanne just chilled for a bit instead of getting busy with anything else.

After a while, she grabbed her pan, set it on the stove, and poured in about half a pan of oil.

It didn’t take long for the oil to heat up, and the dough for the doughnuts had finished rising, too.

Leeanne pulled apart the dough rounds and dropped them into the hot oil. In no time, they puffed up and floated to the

top.

After about ten minutes, she had fried up ten doughnuts.

Since they were on the smaller side, Leeanne decided to eat four herself.

Enjoying her fried doughnuts with a glass of milk, Leeanne was totally satisfied.

She had just finished breakfast when a game announcement flashed across her system screen.

[Dear players, the island hunt has ended. Due to insufficient players in District 33, it will be merged with Districts 34 and 35.

[District 33 survivors: 42,288. District 34 survivors: 31,334. District 35 survivors: 26,051. Total survivors after the merge: 99,673

[Since District 33 has the highest survivor count, Districts 34 and 35 will be merged into District 33. New friends are on their way. Have fun, everyone.]

With this announcement, the gloomy atmosphere in District 33 finally started to lift.

[We’re merging, we’re merging. We finally get to meet the survivors from Districts 34 and 35.]

[Nice! We’re still District 33, just bringing them in. I feel oddly proud ]

[Same here.]

[I wonder if there are any of my classmates, coworkers, or acquaintances in District 33 or 34.1

Everyone was full of anticipation

Danelle and Rodger were the most excited, because they knew Alina, Spike, and Ellery were in District 31. After the merge.

By now, it was already two or three in the afternoon.

Lecane grabbed a quick lunch, then went to feed her chickens, rabbits, and the rest of her pets.

The chat screen was finally quieting down Even Rodger and Danelle had gone stem because figured they west probably busy chatting with Alina and the rest of their crew

At six in the evening another game announcement popped up. The trading ball is now open Players can in any
