[Damaged Bob’s Boots: Bob’s Boots are damaged and not worth a thing anymore. Who could wreck them this badly? That’s terrifying.
[Bob’s Boots can be repaired with today’s Fortune’s Favor Luck Boost. Do you want to repair them?]
“Yes,” Leeanne confirmed.
[Repaired successfully. You’ve obtained Bob’s New Boots. Fortune’s Favor uses left: 0.]
Leeanne quickly pulled up the information on Bob’s New Boots.
[Bob’s New Boots: Bob’s favorite boots are now so changed, he wouldn’t even recognize them. Agility boosted by 5 points. Designed for men.
[Special effect: Bioweapon. Press the button on the boot to release a foul–smelling gas that makes anyone within 30 feet puke their guts out and feel dizzy and weak (except the wearer). It can be used up to three times a day.]
‘Dang, that’s awesome,‘ Leeanne thought, her eyes sparkling with delight. She could barely contain her excitement.
Fortune’s Favor was amazing.
It actually made those reeking boots squeaky clean, and gave them a killer special effect, too,
It was an incredible special effect. If the enemy was puking their guts out and too dizzy to stand, there was no way they could fight back. They’d be easy pickings.
But there was a catch. The bioweapon didn’t care who it hit. One’s teammates would be just as affected.
Still, these boots were powerful. Emmett was getting a steal.
Now, Bob’s Boots looked totally different. They were fresh, clean, and not smelly at all. Honestly, if Bob saw them, he’d probably have no clue they were his old boots.
Leeanne took a closer look and noticed a black metal button on the outside of the boot shaft. That definitely wasn’t there before. She guessed that was the bioweapon trigger.
She thought about testing it out, but after imagining the chaos that gas would cause, she decided to pass.
Finally, with reluctance, Leeanne sent Bob’s New Boots over to Emmett.
Almost instantly, she got a flood of voice messages from Emmett, who was practically screaming his head off. “Oh my gosh, Leeanne, you’re so freaking awesome! You–you–you… I’m totally blown away.”
He just kept yelling the same thing over and over, like he was stuck on repeat.

“Oh my gosh, Leeanne, I love these boots! Oh my gosh, these are literally made for me. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh…”
Leeanne didn’t hesitate. She just shut off the chat window with Emmett.
‘Let him cool off first,‘ she thou
Half an hour later, Leeanne checked back and saw that Emmett had spammed her with a mountain of
messages.
She only bothered to read the last few.
Emmett: [I can tell that Gideon’s totally jealous, even if he won’t admit it.]
Emmett: [I tested it out, and all the fish within 30 feet flipped belly–up. Man, that was awesome.]
Emmett: [Leeanne, I’ve made up my mind. I shall follow you from now on. Whatever you need, just say the word. I’ve got your back.]
Leeanne figured his messages were just pointless chatter, so she stopped bothering with them.
She checked the trading hall again and saw that a bunch of her stuff had been sold. She’d obtained loads of wood and iron.
Most of her supplies were gone, and her warehouse was looking pretty empty.
Leeanne checked her inventory and saw she had over 7,000 pieces of wood and nails each.
With 7,000 wood and nails, she could expand her raft by 7 thousand square feet. Her raft was already over 3 thousand square feet, so adding another 7 thousand square feet would bump it up to a whopping 10 thousand square feet.
Once her raft reached 10 thousand square feet, she could finally test if the mystical cherry grove had gotten a space upgrade, too.
Leeanne headed straight for the crafting table,
(Materials needed to build 10 square feet of raft: 10 wood, 10 nails. Do you want to build now?
[Materials needed to build 100 square feet of raft: 100 wood, 100 nails. Do you want to build in bulk?
‘Bulk building’s unlocked?‘ Leeanne thought as she went for the bulk build without hesitation.
After the expansion, her raft was 60 feet wide and 150 feet long. Except for that odd archery range sticking out, it was now a perfect rectangle,
With all that extra space, her wooden pleasure boat, warehouse, and pantry were tucked away in just one
corner.
Even the fence was barely there. Just a tiny section remained.

Building a fence would eat up a ton of wood, and when Leeanne checked her supplies, she realized she didn’t have enough now.
She had no choice but to skip the fence for now.
With her supplies running low, e couldn’t trade for more wood right now. She’d just have to wait and deal
with it later.
Once her raft hit 10 thousand square feet, Leeanne immediately headed straight into the mystical cherry
grove.
But as soon as she stepped inside, her heart sank.
Nothing had changed at all. The mist was still there, the cherry tree was still standing, and all the fruit trees and veggies she’d planted before were exactly the same.
Leeanne was totally bummed. Her experiment was a bust. The mystical cherry grove hadn’t leveled up even after her raft reached 10 thousand square feet.
‘Guess the next upgrade’s locked until my raft hits one hundred thousand square feet,‘ Leeanne thought.
‘One hundred thousand square feet? That’d take a jaw–dropping 90,000 wood and nails. That’s a crazy amount. Who knows how long I’d have to grind for all that?‘
Still, after a quick wave of disappointment, Leeanne shrugged it off.
She’d only been in Survival on the Seas for eleven days, and already managed to expand her raft to 10 thousand square feet. That was pretty speedy. She just had to keep stockpiling for the next upgrade.
With a quarter acre of land and plants growing four times faster, that was plenty for now.
Suddenly, the system chimed in.
[Progress detected in the mystical cherry grove. You’ve been rewarded with an Infinite Spring. Go ahead and place it.]
Just a short distance from Leeanne, right next to the marker in the center of the grove, a fountain
materialized.
For now, the Infinite Spring was just a faint, shimmering silhouette.
That spot was smack in the middle of the grove, with no plants growing anywhere nearby.
“That spot’s perfect, Leeanne thought.
With a tap, the Infinite Spring settled right in the middle, just a short distance from the marker.
Water gushed from the base, shooting up into the air. It reached about 15 feet before cascading down, splashing into the pool below.
The clear water bubbled and rippled gently at the bottom.

The pool was circular, about 15 feet across, lined with smooth, white stones that looked like polished marble. It was spotless and perfectly even.
As Leeanne approached the fountai a wave of humidity hit her, and every so o against her skin.
n, cool droplets splashed
The air felt pleasantly cool.
[Infinite Spring: This spot gushes out endless, sweet–tasting water. One can drink it or use it to water the crops. It can be upgraded.]
‘Whoa, this is awesome,‘ Leeanne thought.
Leeanne was thrilled. Her space finally had a spring, not a spiritual spring, but a clear spring at last.
It might not be able to heal or save anyone, but as long as it could keep her crops watered and never run out, that was all she needed. She still had seeds left over from yesterday that she hadn’t gotten around to planting.
Her seawater filter just couldn’t keep up with a quarter acre of land.
‘Finally, I have a proper water source,‘ Leeanne thought.
It was already late, but Leeanne couldn’t bear to go to bed yet. She grabbed all her seeds and started planting them.
Wheat, pumpkins, cabbage, potatoes, oats, spinach, and fruit trees, such as pears, oranges, and others.
By the time she finished planting, Leeanne was so exhausted she could barely move, but she was delighted. Just imagining her mystical cherry grove bursting into a full–blown orchard and veggie patch soon had her buzzing with excitement.
She looked over at the cherry tree and sighed. ‘It’s a shame I can’t plant the pits from this magical cherry tree. If I could, my space would be a real cherry orchard, Leeanne thought, feeling a bit wistful.
After a quick breather, Leeanne washed up and crashed for the night.
Early the next morning, Leeanne woke up to the sound of a system alert.
