The old goat was scared out of its wits, begging for mercy continuously. It finally agreed to spill the earth–shattering secret.

Leeanne still didn’t utter a word, just stared at it coldly. Little Blue cursed, “Bullshit. Don’t waste my time.”

The old goat was truly panicking now. It shouted desperately, right on the subject, “A bunch of weirdos destroyed this place. They also said something. Ahem, let me go. I’ll tell you; I truly will…”

Lecanne raised her hand. “Little Blue, put it down.”

Little Blue was pissed. “You old geezer, always wasting everyone’s time. Go to hell!” It then released its grip, and the old goat plummeted from mid–air.

The old ram rolled a couple of times, then scrambled up, looking utterly disheveled. It shook its body, most of the dirt falling off. Obviously, Little Blue’s toss hadn’t done him any real damage.

Leeanne said indifferently, “Go on. If I confirm what you’re telling me is true, I’ll heal you later.”

Earlier, Leeanne didn’t give the old goat a damn, which made it act cocky, thinking she was soft–hearted. But after that drop just now, it finally understood. ‘This girl could be ruthless,‘ it thought to itself, and it dared not utter a word of nonsense now.

The old goat quickly explained, “Three days ago, I came here to graze, but it actually wasn’t my real intention. I wanted to check out the Divine Sheep Palace and hope to bump into the Divine Unicorn Sheep. I thought of persuading it to take me to find a treasure.”

Leeanne gave him a look of utter disdain, thinking, ‘Shameless old hack! ‘Persuade‘? My foot! It sounds more like ‘scam.‘

It even attempts to scam Divine Unicorn Sheep? This guy’s got guts. I must teach him a lesson, or he’ll never spit out a single truth.‘

The old goat let out an awkward bleat and continued, “I was wandering around when I overheard someone talking. That person said to clear out all the nearby sheep, and if that didn’t work, to slaughter them all.

‘I sensed something wrong and quickly hid in a safe spot I’d stumbled upon before. Nobody, I mean no sheep, could find me there. I stayed hidden and managed to catch a few snippets of their conversation.”

The old goat then started mimicking both voices in the conversation.

One said, “Man, shutting down the Divine Sheep Palace is such a waste. Setting up this whole zone took a ton of effort and

resources.

The other said, “The Divine Unicorn Sheep’s gotten way too clever. It’s out of control now, so we have to wipe it out. There’s just no other option.”

The first one said, “Let’s not destroy everything. We can move the Divine Unicorn Sheep out, lock this zone with a password. and reopen it when the time’s right. What do you think?”

The other said, “Alright, but you’re always so careless, and something always goes wrong. This time, make sure you set it up properly and don’t leave any loose ends.”

The first one said, “No problem.”

The old goat continued, “I don’t know how much time passed, but the two of them eventually came out. I heard all sorts of messy noises, and then the two of them started talking again.”

The first one said, “I still feel uneasy. How about you reset it, just to be safe?”

The other one grew impatient. “Why are you such a coward? Forget it!”

The old goat went on, “After that, they stopped talking. Then I heard a bunch of loud noises, like explosions. I was so scared and dared not move, waiting for things to settle down.

“It took a long time, and I didn’t come out until it was dark. By then, the Divine Sheep Palace was already in ruins.”

Leeanne shot it a sideways glance. “So you were just pretending not to know anything earlier?”

‘What an act; shameless old liar,‘ she thought.

The old goat muttered, “I was just saving my trump card!” It was feeling pretty bummed; Leeanne had exposed its trump card. It started to regret ever messing with Leeanne in the first place.

Suddenly, Leeanne frowned. “Wait a minute. You said you overheard two voices, but never actually saw them. How do you know they were human?”

The old goat replied confidently, “They were speaking plain human talk. Could they be sheep?”

“I’ve lived for over three hundred years, and was born able to understand human language,” it added smugly.

Leeanne shot back coolly, “But what does living three hundred years have to do with being able to understand human language from birth?”

She was pretty much sure now that the old goat was telling the truth, although it sounded pretty unbelievable. She glanced at Snowy, and an idea struck her.

‘Could having two horns still be considered having the Divine Unicorn Sheep’s bloodline?‘ she wondered. ‘But it has memories! Well, let’s give it a try, she thought.

She set Snowy down and asked, “Did you memorize the dance that lamb next to you did just now?” She referred to the panda–eyed lamb.

Snowy nodded. “Yes, I did.”

Leeanne was impressed. ‘Not bad, Snowy’s got a pretty good memory,’ she thought.

The panda–eyed lamb’s dance was all over the place. Leeanne couldn’t remember a single move, but Snowy somehow could memorize the whole thing.

She pointed at the stone slab, saying, “Try it out. Follow that lamb’s dance moves. Can you keep up?” Her only concern was Snowy’s stamina.

“No problem,” Snowy said, sounding confident.

Snowy was nervous. It really wanted to prove itself. ‘Leeanne’s done so much for me. Now that it’s my turn, I can’t mess this up,‘ she thought.

Snowy had an excellent memory. Although the dance was messy and all over the place, it remembered every move perfectly. It hopped to the middle and followed the panda–eyed lamb’s dance, move for move. By the end of the dance, it

The screen flickered, displaying a mess of garbled code. After a few seconds, it flashed twice, and a line of text appeared: [Invalid password. Invalid password.]

That message barely lasted a second before vanishing, and was replaced by another: [Welcome home, my child.]

Suddenly, thunderous booms echoed as the purple alfalfa around them swept backward, and the ruins collapsed into dust. The scene before their eyes changed in a blink.

A majestic palace now stood before them, seemingly carved from pure white marble. On the plaque above the entrance were three large characters: “Divine Sheep Palace.”

Above the palace, a majestic creature strode proudly, its head held high. It was a beautiful unicorn sheep, pure white and radiant.

Its massive body gleamed like white marble, and from its forehead rose a tall, silver horn, elegantly curved in a graceful arc.

Its eyes shone a vivid emerald green, glowing softly. Its ears drooped slightly, and its hooves were snowy white, as if it walked atop clouds.

On its back rested a pair of enormous, snow–white wings. With its wings spread wide, it looked just like a Pegasus, totally badass and full of heroic energy.

A bright green collar wrapped around its neck, with a green gemstone dangling beneath, sparkling brilliantly. The gem shimmered with a soft, radiant glow.

‘It’s absolutely gorgeous,‘ Leeanne thought, completely mesmerized, and was so stunned she just stood there, lost in awe for a long time.

‘So this is Divine Unicorn Sheep?‘ Leeanne thought, totally blown away. ‘It’s gorgeous! Is Snowy gonna look like this when it grows up?‘ she wondered, feeling a rush of excitement.

It’s got wings, so it can actually fly!‘ she thought, almost bouncing in place. ‘Snowy’s so obedient, I bet I could ride it someday, Leeanne mused, grinning.

But come on, it’s way too adorable and precious to be just a mount. That’d be such a waste. All the dirty work should go to Little Blue, that silly bird,’ she snickered inwardly. ‘Little Blue’s not exactly delicate anyway.’
