Leeanne gazed at the Divine Unicorn Sheep floating in the air, utterly amazed. As she soon retracted her gaze, Snowy was staring at the statue. Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears, as if on the verge of crying. There was also admiration and adoration in her expression.
Leeanne said softly, “Snowy, let’s go in.”
The palace gates were already open. Snowy nodded slightly and slowly made her way into the palace, with Leeanne following close behind.
The old goat’s eyes gleamed with excitement. Ignoring its battered body, it trotted eagerly over to the palace gates. “Baa!” it cried out in pain as an invisible barrier at the entrance bounced it right back.
“Ouch! Ouch!” the old goat cried several times, then shouted, “Hey, wait for us! Little Blue and I haven’t gotten in yet!”
Little Blue was even more reckless. It barreled straight toward the gate, only to be bounced back with a loud thud.
It grumbled, “Snowy, are you looking for trouble? Quickly let us in!”
Leeanne and Snowy turned around in surprise. Snowy said to Leeanne softly, “This is my home. My mom doesn’t really let anyone in except you and me.”
Leeanne suddenly realized. ‘It must be because of my contract with Snowy that I was allowed to get in,‘ she thought.
She then told Little Blue and the old goat, “Just wait for us outside, we’ll be back in a short while.”
The old goat and Little Blue were both reluctant. The old goat had wanted to see if there were any treasures inside, hoping to snag a few if it found some.
Whereas Little Blue had just wanted to be part of the action and hated missing out on any excitement. The two of them were fussing and whining outside.
Meanwhile, Leeanne and Snowy had already gone inside. Actually, the palace was majestic but not very large, just incredibly tall. Leeanne and Snowy ascended what felt like endless stairs before finally reaching the main hall.
In the main hall, there was a massive throne, and upon it sat a statue of the Divine Unicorn Sheep. It was much smaller than the one outside, and its expression appeared much gentler.
Snowy stared at the statue, tears rolling down its face. Leeanne waited for it. After a while, Snowy said, “I just got some memories back. I know where my mom hid the thing she left for me.”
Step by step, it made her way toward the throne. As it approached closer, it hopped onto the throne, stretched out its front legs, and embraced the statue of the divine sheep tightly.
Soft clicking sounds could be heard as a treasure chest slowly popped out from beneath the throne. It was a treasure chest made of white marble, adorned with a huge emerald on top.
“This is what my mom left for me!” Snowy called out joyfully, and Leeanne walked over
[You’ve found the Divine Unicorn Sheep’s white marble treasure chest. You must not open it)
‘Must not open?‘ Leeanne was puzzled. She searched every inch of the treasure chest, even tried pressing the emerald hardl but nothing happened at all.
‘What’s inside the chest?‘ Why can’t I open it?‘ Leeanne wondered. Moreover, there wasn’t even a keyhole.

Leeanne turned and asked, “Do you know how to open this treasure chest?”

Snowy looked just as puzzled. “I have no idea…” As it spoke, it tentatively reached out and touched the emerald on the chest.
[Treasure chest opened. You’ve obtained 24 Blood Dew Pills.]
‘Seriously? That was all it took?‘ Leeanne thought, dumbfounded.
She immediately understood. This was a gift from the Divine Unicorn Sheep, meant only for Snowy. Because of her contract with Snowy, Leeanne received the notification.
When the treasure chest opened, 24 neatly arranged bottles, which looked like glass bottles, were inside. In each bottle, a faintly visible red pill could be seen, a total of 24 Blood Dew Pills.
Furthermore, each bottle had words written on it. The first bottle was labeled “Day 1,” the second bottle “Day 2,” and so on, all the way up to “Day 24.” Leeanne gazed at them in surprise.
Snowy explained, “My mom left these 24 Blood Dew Pills for me. When I was born, I needed them to nourish me. I’m supposed to take these pills daily, one pill a day.
“After 24 days, I’ll be able to live on my own. I was supposed to take all these pills from the day I was born.”
Snowy seemed a bit weak. Leeanne realized and quickly urged, “Quick, Snowy, take the first Blood Dew Pill now.” She picked up the first bottle, popped the cork, and poured out the first pill.
[Blood Dew Pill: Infused with the Divine Unicorn Sheep’s powerful bloodline strength. Only descendants of the Divine Unicorn Sheep can take it.]
Snowy curled its tongue around the pill in Leeanne’s hand and swallowed it down. It barely managed to open its eyes and said to Leeanne, “I’m so sleepy. Please wait for me, I’m just going to take a nap…”
Before it could finish, its body went limp, and it collapsed onto the floor, falling asleep instantly.
Leeanne figured Snowy was probably letting the Blood Dew Pill work its magic. After all, the description made it clear that these pills were a treasure made just for Snowy.
Leeanne then shifted her attention to the white marble treasure chest. Looking at the remaining neatly arranged 23 bottles, she couldn’t help but feel they were like a mother’s milk.
It’s like the Divine Unicorn Sheep has stored its milk for its child,’ she thought.
I should put this chest away, Leeanne thought. But strictly speaking, it belonged to Snowy. She thus wondered if she could actually put it away.
Leeanne put the lid back on the white marble treasure chest and ran her hand over it.
[Unicorn Divine Sheep’s White Marble Treasure Chest: A treasure belonging to the Divine Unicorn Sheep. Time stands still inside the chest, so anything you put in will stay exactly as it is when you first place it in there.]
“Time stands still?‘ Leeanne’s eyes widened in surprise. ‘Who would’ve thought the biggest treasure was actually this white marble treasure chest? Time stands still, how wonderfull
If one puts hot food in the treasure chest, it’ll stay just as hot no matter how long it stays in there. And if one puts cold drinks in, they’ll stay icy cold forever. This is way better than a fridge.
‘If I ever find another treasure that has to be used within a certain time limit, can I just stash it in this white marble treasure chest? ‘For instance, my mysterious cherry!‘ she thought, her heart skipping a beat.

That cherry had always been a nagging worry for Leeanne. She couldn’t pick it because once it was off the tree, she had to eat it within 24 hours, or it would lose its power to increase her attributes.
But she could only eat three cherries. If she ate more, it wouldn’t give her any extra attributes. So Leeanne had been keeping it on the tree, not daring to pick it.
But if she didn’t pick it, the cherry tree wouldn’t bear a second batch of fruit. Now, with this spacious chest, she could finally pick the cherry and stash it here, waiting for the perfect timing to sell it off.
Leeanne was thrilled. This white marble treasure chest totally beat all the other treasures she had ever found. Her trip to Island 1699 wasn’t just about saving Snowy but hitting the jackpot.
With a flick of her wrist, she tucked the white marble treasure chest straight into her backpack. She had only been on the island for seven or eight hours and still had hours before she needed to leave. There was plenty of time for Snowy to rest up.
As she didn’t want Little Blue to get anxious, Leeanne went outside to give it a heads–up. When Leeanne came back to the main hall, Snowy was already awake.
So fast. Snowy has only slept for thirty minutes,‘ she thought. However, Leeanne felt Snowy had changed drastically in just thirty minutes.
