Little Blue was just above the treetops, and Bob managed to throw his hammer all the way up there. It nearly smashed right into them!

Leeanne glanced down, Bob was tearing across the ground, fast as a bullet, yelling at the top of his lungs, “You took my treasure! I’m gonna kill you!”

His hammer was already back in his grip. He glared up at Leeanne and Little Blue, then with a furious swing, sent it flying right at Leeanne.

Little Blue pulled off another dive, and the hammer zipped so close it nearly grazed Leeanne’s ear.

Leeanne’s heart skipped a beat. She quickly shouted at Little Blue, “Don’t dive any lower! Any lower and we’ll hit the ground!”

If they went down any more,

Bob would crush them for sure.

Bob roared, “You stole my treasure! I’m gonna kill you!”

Little Blue barely had time to breathe before it dove again, dodging at the last second.

Leeanne’s heart was racing. She couldn’t believe Bob was this powerful. Chucking a massive hammer that high? That was insane!

After getting hammered again and again, Little Blue finally lost its cool. It yelled down at Bob, “Hey, shorty! Come any closer and I’ll mess you up!”

Right now, Little Blue was barely above the treetops. One wrong move and they’d be crashing down.

Leeanne panicked. She whipped out her horn bow, nocked three arrows in a flash, and let them fly at Bob.

Bob swung his hammer, knocking each arrow aside one by one.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Little Blue shot upward as fast as it could.

Leeanne kept firing arrows nonstop, making Bob scramble to dodge. That gave Little Blue a breather, and it shot straight up into the sky.

Bob’s voice grew faint. “I’m gonna kill you!”

But his hammer couldn’t reach them anymore. Little Blue was way too high up now.

With the danger finally over, Leeanne let out a sigh of relief.

She’d burned through about twenty or thirty arrows just now, and there was no way she was going back to pick them up. She’d have to restock later.

Bob was furious, flailing his arms and legs and shouting nonstop down below.

Little Blue complained, “I can’t keep this up. We’re way up here, and I’m getting exhausted.”

Leeanne warned, “Doesn’t matter if you’re tired, you have to stick it out! If you go down now, Bob will totally wreck your wings!”

She checked the time. Thank goodness, they just had to hold out for three or four more minutes, and then they could teleport out of here.

Once Little Blue heard they only had to hang in there for a few more minutes, it relaxed and just kept circling high above.

Meanwhile, Bob was stuck on the ground, hopping around, chucking his hammer, and yelling his head off.

Little Blue burst out laughing, totally cocky. “Hey, shorty! Come on, try and catch me!”

Bob roared, “I’m gonna kill you! Just wait, my sons and grandsons won’t let you get away with this!”
