Chapter 139
Little Blue’s Evolution Pill hadn’t worn off yet, so it was showing off, zipping around everywhere. Leeanne hurried town
It had been an eventful day, and Leeanne was already worn out. By the time midnight rolled around the just dat a quick wash and headed straight to bed.
The next morning, Leeanne didn’t wake up until nine. She whipped up a quick breakfast for herself, then put some wo meat, fangs, and pelts up for sale.
She needed to swap those for wood and nails.
In seven days, the second wave of players would be arriving, and she wanted to boost her raft’s rating, So, the first step was stock up on basic supplies like wood, nails, and glass.
She had a mountain of wolf meat, fangs, and pelts. There was no point letting them gather dust, so trading them for woord just made sense.
After putting everything up for sale, Snowy woke up, and Leeanne grabbed a Blood Dew Pill for her
It was just like taking medicine. One pill a day, and Leeanne never skipped a dose.
Just as Snowy popped the Blood Dew Pill into her mouth, Little Blue swaggered over, snickering Yo. little lower basting your milk again?”
Snowy snorted, “Loser!”
Little Blue retorted, “Loser!”
Snowy gave it a look that said it all.
Little Blue said, “What are you staring at, little loser? Hurry up and drink your milk. Hey.
It dropped right to the ground.
It was just way too weak. Yesterday, Little Blue went crazy over the ocean for more than twenty minutes and only mally came crashing down once the Evolution Pill wore off.
After that, it was left completely drained.
Even the cherries Leeanne gave it couldn’t restore its strength
Little Blue knew that after twelve hours, ind be bouncing back to full strength. So while it was still weak Leeanne nonstop for cherries and strawberries.

Little Blue didn’t even bother getting up just flopped over and whined Doch such.
Leeanne couldn’t help but laugh. “Where does it hun!
Little Blue whined. “Everywhere hurts. Ouch. Got any more cherries?” 1/4

Leeanne glanced at its round belly. “Nope, if you’re hurting that much, it’s probably because you’ve had too many cherries. You need to skip a meal.”
Snowy chimed in. “It can’t eat anymore. If it does, it’ll end up with diarrhea!”
Little Blue shot Snowy a fierce glare, while Leeanne burst out laughing. She put them together and entered the mystical cherry grove.
Blessed by the mystical cherry grove: Lady Luck is smiling on you!]
Leeanne was feeling lucky today, so she walked over and picked two cherries.
Back when she was bidding against Robin for the Teleport Card, her offer was two cherries and a blueprint for deer–hide boots. Now she had to give those to Enrique.
Even though Enrique said the Teleport Card was a gift, all she’d done was save Jessica’s life, and that was just because they were friends. She didn’t want to keep mooching off him.
Enrique had a bunch of people working for him, was sharp in business, and had loads of supplies. He was already shaking up District 33’s trading scene, definitely someone not to be underestimated.
If she wanted to keep their relationship solid, she couldn’t just keep taking without giving anything back.
she needed to make sure she gave something in return.
Otherwise, the favor she earned by saving Jessica would only last so long. Just because she saved his daughter didn’t mean hey’d owe her their best loot forever.
Relationships should be two–way. She couldn’t just keep taking and act like giving back a little was some huge loss.
No one’s a fool.
Plus, just by trading the Teleport Card, she scored a blueprint for deer–hide boots, an Advanced Weapon Blueprint, an Advanced Pet Contract, a Power Spirit Fruit, and a +2 Strength necklace.
Totally jackpot!
eeanne sent Enrique the supplies she’d promised him yesterday.
After a few rounds of polite refusals, Enrique finally accepted. He said, “We went to the island yesterday too and picked up Some cotton seeds. I’ve already sent them your way.”
Leeanne replied, “Thanks. If you ever need anything, just let me know
The two of them hit it off, chatting away like old friends.
Leeanne grabbed the cotton seeds and planted them in the black soil, where time tlowed twenty times faster

Six days to maturity? That was good enough Lecanne thought to herselt
Lecanne planted the cotton because she needed it to keep warm Who knew when the nest cold snap might hit?
After finishing up with the cotton, Leeanne realized she still hadn’t fully recovered from yesterday’s exhaustion, so she planned to catch up on some sleep with a midday nap

Chapter 139
She’d barely taken two steps when a system quest suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
55 youchers
[Ding! Survival System has dropped a new quest: Seven–Day Bet. Within seven days, win two bets with hefty stakes. (Heads up: The system decides if your wager is big enough. And no cheating, seriously.)]
[Quest Reward: Every time you win a bet, you’ll get a partial raft scoring sheet.]
Finally, a new quest had popped up. If it hadn’t, Leeanne would’ve started to think the system had gone into hibernation.
But this quest was actually pretty interesting. She had to make bets with other people, couldn’t pull any tricks, and the stakes had to be big enough for the system to count them.
‘No cheating allowed, huh? So where am I supposed to find someone to bet with? Am I supposed to just start challenging people?‘ Leeanne thought, feeling a bit stumped.
The reward was definitely tempting.
Honestly, most people could figure out the basics for boosting their raft’s rating, for example expanding the raft, adding more buildings, or improving the quality of the structures on board.
But by relying simply on guesswork, a lot of supplies would be wasted. Having a raft scoring sheet would be a real game- changer. It’d help her boost her raft’s score much faster.
Leeanne opened up the Local Chat to see what everyone was talking about.
Sure enough, the whole channel was buzzing about raft ratings.
[Ugh, how is everyone boosting their raft ratings? This game is ridiculous, they don’t even give us the rules!]
[I just expanded my raft by three thousand square feet and finally got a few extra points. Man, that was exhausting!)
[Three thousand square feet? Where are you even supposed to find that much wood? Wood prices have skyrocketed, you know!]
‘I expanded my raft by one thousand square feet and didn’t get a single extra point!”
After scrolling through for a while, Leeanne found it all pretty dull, so she decided to head back and take a nap.
She ended up sleeping until after three in the afternoon.
When Leeanne woke up, the chat channel was buzzing. Everyone had already switched to a new topic.
‘No way, I don’t believe it. Leeanne wouldn’t scam anyone. How could she give Robin a dud Teleport Card? Someone in the chat asked.
Another replied, “yeah, didn’t Robin get out of trouble?”
“I heard Robin didn’t even use the Teleport Card to escape. He just waited until morning, when the wolves left, and then they made a run for it.” Someone added.
“And Robin hasn’t called out Leeanne in the chat channel, has he?”
“Robin doesn’t want to get into it.” Someone chirped in
“Come on, if he really didn’t want to get into it, then how did this rumor even start? Another retorte

She immediately checked her private messages and saw that Rodger, Danelle, William, Emmett, and a bunch of others had all messaged her.
Rodger: [Leeanne, there’s a rumor going around today that the Teleport Card you gave Robin was already used up, it was totally useless. Robin got screwed over, but he’s just taking it. Watch out, Robin’s a real snake!]
Leeanne: “That’s impossible. The Teleport Card I gave Robin definitely still had one use left.”
Rodger: “Alina says Robin faked the whole thing just to frame you
