Chapter 181
Max said. [Hey, Apprentice 8 and Apprentice 9 are in a good mood today. Looks like whoever they run into is getting those two skills!]
[Apprentice 8 taught Robin the construction skill: Advanced Misfortune Curse.]
[Apprentice 9 taught Robin the construction skill: Advanced Shoddy Craftsmanship.]
[Apprentice 8 and Apprentice 9 left Robin’s raft, humming a little tune.)
The other players were speechless.
[Robin? Are you still there?]
[Stop ralling out. His raft is probably in pieces, and he’s busy patching it up.]
[Just give up on fixing it. With Advanced Shoddy Workmanship, it’s probably a total disaster now!]
[Why are Apprentice 8 and Apprentice 9 always hanging around Robin? They just can’t get enough of him!]
[Yeah, they’re so into him. They didn’t even bother with the Intermediate Misfortune Curse or Shoddy Craftsmanship. They went straight for the advanced ones!]
[Man, I’m so jealous of Robin. He’s totally caught the eye of two masters!]
[Hey, I’m kinda worried. If Robin falls into the sea and drowns on his own, does that mean we won’t get the bounty mission reward?]
(Apprentice 8 and Apprentice 9 hopped onto Max’s raft!]
[Apprentice 8 taught Max the construction skill, Misfortune Curse.]
[Apprentice 9 taught Max the construction skill, Shoddy Workmanship.]
Apprentice 8 taught Liam the construction skill, Misfortune Curse.]
[Apprentice 9 taught Liam the construction skill, Shoddy Workmanship.]
The announcements rolled in fast, and the players couldn’t help but crack up when they saw them.
[Max, congrats! You finally scored a bargain!]
[All thanks to his boss Robin. That’s some real luck right there!]
[Who’s Liam? I never heard of him before 1
[Liam? He’s the one who broke his promise and brought Robin onto the island He’s in Robin’s crew. Rumor has it Rubin bribed him with some treasure to make it happen)
[Oh, so that’s how it is. Serves him right!)
[Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird? Why do all these guys not get along with Leeanne? The more I think about it, the more unsettling it feels)

spike said. [You’re overthinking it. They’re all part of Robin’s crew. Robin got some perks and decided to hook his buddies. ip!]
Ellery said, [Exactly! Robin’s the kind of boss who never forgets his bros, haha!]
Meanwhile, Apprentice 8 and Apprentice 9 gave Max and Liam a good scolding, helped themselves to some things, and left vith big grins on their faces.
They’d finished the job Leeanne gave them and got a bunch of supplies. They were more than satisfied.
Max and Liam were so miserable they couldn’t even cry. At least Max had always been tight with Robin, but Liam just felt it vas totally unfair.
He’d never crossed paths with Robin before. On the island, he got greedy for Robin’s supplies and ended up calling him
>ver.
But then he got roughed up by Bob’s family, while Apprentice 8 and Apprentice 9 managed to scam a bunch of his stuff. Robin still hadn’t handed over the supplies he promised. Thinking it over, Liam realized that bringing Robin onto the island
ad cost him way more than he bargained for.
iam was filled with regret.
Leeanne was the only one actually worried about Robin. She asked Apprentice 23, “Hey, what happens if Robin falls into the vater?”
f he fell into the sea, her reward would be gone.
Apprentice 23 said, “Relax. His raft isn’t going to fall apart anytime soon!”
Leeanne kept her eyes glued to the chat screen. Finally, at noon, Bob put out another bounty mission, and this tinte the eward included an extra piece of Premium Black Gold Soil.
Apprentice 23 told her to keep waiting.
By around five in the evening, Bob added two more pieces of Premium Black Gold Soil to the reward.
So now, if someone managed to take out Robin, they’d get four pieces of Premium Black Gold Soil and a rare weapon.
Apprentice 23 nodded. “Alright, that’s Bob’s limit. Time to go get Robin!”
Leeanne had already prepped her weapons and everything else. She even brought Little Blue and Snowy along.
But then she realized something serious. “After I take out Robin, how am I supposed to get back to my raft?”
This was a big deal. What if she went out there and couldn’t make it back?
Apprentice 23 paused for a moment. “Apprentice 49 can sail to an island he knows, or to wherever the rest of us are. When you teleport, just bring me along. I’ll go with you, and then Apprentice 49 can take your boat to find me. But I need to make one thing clear. I can’t interfere in your battle with Robin.”
So, she couldn’t help out, and Leeanne understood.
Suddenly, something occurred to her. “Can I teleport with a whole bunch of people?”
Apprentice 23 said, “Keep dreaming!”

Leeanne fell silent.

Not wasting any more time with Apprentice 23, she pulled out her Targeted Teleport Card, and the screen flashed open.
[Do you want to use the Targeted Teleport Card? Remaining uses: 1.]
Leeanne said, “Yes!”
[Please enter coordinates, or search for a player!]
Leeanne entered Robin’s name, and instantly, the Teleport Card displayed his location, along with a prompt.
[Do you want to teleport to this location?]
Leeanne took Apprentice 23 by the hand and said, “Yes!”
In the blink of an eye, she was standing on a raft.
The raft was over 500 square meters, with a row of wooden pleasure boats lined up on it, and several wooden crates neatly arranged along the sides.
Not far away, a young man was sprawled out in a bamboo rocking chair, taking a nap.
Leeanne arrived without a sound, and he was completely unaware. His eyes stayed shut, lost in sleep.
He was decent–looking, but there was a fierce vibe about him. Sporting a crew cut and sharp, brand–new clothes, Leeanne guessed Bob must’ve hooked him up with that outfit.
Ugh, if I end up wrecking that outfit during the fight, that’d really suck. I won’t be able to sell it if it gets ruined,‘ Leeanne thought.
Leeanne glanced at Robin’s neck and quietly drew her dagger.
If I could just take him out with one quick slash to the throat, that’d be perfect. No need to mess up his clothes, and I wouldn’t even have to fight him,’ she thought.
She crept forward a couple of steps.
Suddenly, a young, plaintive voice broke the silence. “Woo–woo…”
Leeanne looked down and spotted a huge fishing net right at her feet, with a seal–like creature caught inside.
It was about fifty or sixty centimeters long, chubby and covered in pure white, short, fluffy fur. It was so adorable that it looked just like a little rice ball. Right now, it was gazing up at Leeanne with big, round, watery eyes that gleamed like black pearls, straining to lift its head.
It kept whimpering and calling out.
“Shh!” Leeanne gently nudged it with her foot. If it kept making noise, Robin was bound to wake up.
But instead of quieting down, the little seal got even more worked up, thrashing its tail and body, making sharp slapping
noises.
‘You little pest! Leeanne thought, exasperated.
She was getting annoyed. She bent down and sliced open the net with her dagger. The little seal scrambled out, flapping

wildly, and let out two more plaintive cries at Leeanne.
It seemed to be holding something in its mouth.
Leeanne could even see a pleading, almost hopeful look in its eyes.
Just don’t mess things up for me,‘ Leeanne thought.
She gave the little seal a gentle nudge with her foot, and it slid right off the raft into the sea with a soft plop.

Robin’s hand twitched a little, but Leeanne ignored everything else and quietly moved closer to him, her heart pounding.
She raised her dagger and plunged it down hard.
Suddenly, Robin’s eyes flew open. Spotting Leeanne beside him, his face went pale. He pushed off with his foot, sending the rocking chair sliding back and narrowly dodging her attack.
He sprang to his feet, retreated a few steps, and a long blade appeared in his hand.
The two of them faced off, tension crackling in the air.
Robin said, “Leeanne?”
Leeanne put away her dagger, loosened her whip, and gave him a sly smile. “It’s me! Surprised?”
