Leeanne was worried. With only one day left, her raft’s rating still hadn’t hit 1200.
She sat there, troubled over her score stuck at 1188.
Meanwhile, in the Local Chat, tons of players were celebrating because their raft ratings had finally broken past 100.
Most of them were the ones who had helped Leeanne chop down trees.
They were truly grateful to her.
Leeanne took out Premium Black Gold Soil she’d just earned and placed it on the deck, leaving a small gap between it and the other plots.
After setting it down, she was stumped about what to plant.
‘Is there anything urgent I need to plant?‘ Leeanne wondered.
Just as she was thinking, a private message popped up from Enrique. [Do you need this? Advanced Cotton–Linen Curtain Blueprint. It’s special blueprint.]
[Advanced Cotton–Linen Curtain Blueprint (Special Blueprint): Craft floor–length, double–layered, light–blocking curtains. Materials needed: 10 wood, 10 nails, 50 cotton, 10 sisal.]
Leeanne’s heart skipped a beat. ‘This blueprint doesn’t look ordinary. It’s a special one?‘
She had no idea what made a special blueprint so special.
She could really use some nicer curtains. Her makeshift cloth curtains were way too basic, and they hadn’t boosted her score at all.
She checked the materials list. ‘Not bad, I’ve got almost everything. No sisal, but I do have some sisal seeds.
She replied right away, [Yes, I need it!]
Before she could even name a price, Enrique had already sent over the blueprint. [If you can make the curtains, just send me one when you’re done.]
Leeanne raised an eyebrow. ‘So, he’s basically giving it to me for free?’
She knew Enrique was trying to build a good relationship with her, so she answered immediately, [Alright, I’ll send you one once I’m done.]
With that, she stepped into the mystical cherry grove. She’d planted cotton a few days ago, and it was supposed to be ready tomorrow. But maybe Fluffy’s luck had rubbed off on the grove, because the cotton was already ripe today.
Leeanne harvested the cotton.
After picking the first batch, she didn’t pull up the plants. She figured there’d be a second and even a third wave of cotton maturing soon.
She ended up with 200 cotton in total.
Back on the raft, Leeanne took out her sisal seeds and planted them in both plots of Premium Black Gold Soil. She didn’t even have time to water them before the seeds sprouted. Within a minute, a whole bunch of robust sisal plants had shot up.

Chapter 184
The next morning, Leeanne woke up and headed straight for the mystical cherry grove.

Even though she’d built a villa on her raft, the grove hadn’t changed at all. Leeanne figured maybe the grove only changed when her raft got bigger.
Of course, that was just a guess. It could be affected by more than just the raft’s size.
She was running low on wood, so she decided to hold off for a few days and then expand her raft to a whopping 3000 square meters in one go.
She went to the grove to give her luck a boost.
[Today’s Fortune’s Favor from the mystical cherry grove: Lady Luck is smiling on you!]
‘Not bad. The chests today should have some surprises,‘ Leeanne thought.
She decided to crack open yesterday’s chests first.
She’d already figured out that the luck bonus from Lady Luck only applied to the chests she got that day. Stashing them for a luckier day was totally useless.
So she guessed yesterday’s chests would just be full of basic stuff.
She went down the line, opening each chest. As expected, they contained nothing special, just common wood, plastic, nails, food, and the usual junk.
Leeanne took apart all the wooden chests and then headed off to make breakfast.
By the time she finished eating, the cotton on the Black Gold Soil had ripened again. She picked another 200 cotton, used her remaining 20 sisal to craft two more curtains, and sent them over to Enrique.
That Advanced Curtain Blueprint had been a huge help, and she was genuinely grateful to Enrique for it.
They chatted for a bit, then went back to their own business.
With her raft’s rating finally high enough and the next batch of players not showing up until tomorrow, Leeanne found herself with a rare day to just relax.
She sank into her bean bag chair and pinged William in chat. [Hey, how’s your raft coming along?]
For the past few days, Leeanne had been keeping tabs on William’s raft rating progress.
Once he started crafting advanced furniture and figured out the scoring rules, William boosted his raft’s rating past 100.
He’d lost his wife and parents, and now it was just him and his 5–year–old son.
So, all he needed was to get his raft’s rating up to 100.
Leeanne told him to expand his raft as much as possible, so his kid wouldn’t feel cramped or bored when he arrived. William had been grinding away at that for the last couple of days.
William was thrilled. [I traded my leftover advanced wood for loads of common wood, and meters now!]
my raft’s
up to 500 square
Leeanne was impressed. [That’s awesome!]

Chapter 184
William: [Honestly, I couldn’t have done it without Enrique’s help.]
At first, the exchange rate for advanced wood to common wood was just 1:10.

Over on Apprentice 49’s boat, Enrique and his crew were working the crowd, handling tons of player trades for advanced wood. With all those commissions, he basically had the advanced wood market in the palm of his hand.
Enrique had his guys flooding Local Chat, hyping up how awesome advanced furniture was. Players got all excited to craft it, demand shot through the roof, and the exchange rate climbed higher.
In just half a day, the ratio for advanced wood to common wood had jumped to 1:15.
Enrique told everyone he’d trade at a 1:12 rate, so with the market at 1:15, he was netting 3 extra common wood for every piece of advanced wood he sold.
Enrique was really cashing in.
William didn’t want to deal with trading himself, so Enrique handled it for him, selling at 1:15 without charging any commission. Thanks to that, William scored a bunch of common wood.
His raft had expanded to 500 square meters, and he’d even put up a sturdy fence around it.
