Chapter 212
Apprentice 49 got kicked by Apprentice 23 and almost choked. He looked up at her with puppy eyes. “I’ve never been to Coral Island.”
Leeanne motioned to Apprentice 23.
She knew Apprentice 49 was a foodie, so she gave him the meat pie and watermelon, not planning to ask him anything.
Apprentice 49 devoured the meat pie, wiped his mouth, and patted his belly.
He’d been eating all afternoon, but his stomach was only a little bit round. ‘Where did all that food even go?‘ he wondered.
Night had fallen, and the lanterns on Leeanne’s ship cast a soft glow.
Apprentice 49 turned to Apprentice 23. “Let’s head back,” he said.
Apprentice 23 nodded and waved goodbye to Leeanne.
The two siblings turned their boat and rowed off into the night.
Suddenly, Apprentice 49 spun around and shouted, “Leeanne, I just remembered. Coral Island… You get in through the coral.”
A gust of wind swept by, and Leeanne only managed to catch a few words.
When she looked up again, Apprentice 49 and Apprentice 23 had vanished.
Leeanne thought, ‘Wait, what did Apprentice 49 just say? Through the coral?
‘Does it have something to do with coral?‘
‘Right, Apprentice 23 mentioned it might be connected to coral.
‘Coral barely grows on land. Most of them are found in the sea. And since the game unlocked the ocean world, chances are the entrance to Coral Island is somewhere out in the water.‘
Suddenly, it all clicked for Leeanne.
‘That’s gotta be it,‘ Leeanne thought.
Too bad it was already dark, and the ocean was way too dangerous at night. She wasn’t familiar with the underwater world, so she figured she’d wait for daylight before heading out on her adventure.
Maeve had finished cooking dinner, so tonight, they could finally sit down and eat together.
There were meat pies, oatmeal, salad, and crispy fried fish. As they ate and chatted under the gentle glow of the lanterns, everything felt warm and inviting.

Leeanne felt safe and content.
Having Maeve, her grandma, nearby really made things different. ‘If only Grandpa and my brother’s family were here, too, Leeanne thought.
All she could do was wait for the Great Hunt and hope they’d get a chance to meet.
After dinner, Leeanne sorted through her supplies, pulled out the Silver–Horned Bow, and headed over to the crafting station.
[Silver–Horned Bow Blueprint: Rare weapon. Required materials: 10 Advanced White Iron Ore, 1 Tier 5 Wild Bull Silver Horn, 1 Tier 5 Wild Bull Tendon. Do you want to craft it?]
Leeanne hesitated for moment.
If she waited for a Lucky Streak, there was a good chance she could score a weapon that was better than Rare. Maybe even upgrade to the next tier.
But after all this time, she’d only ever had one Lucky Streak so far.
No telling how long she’d have to wait if she held out.
Weapons and gear got outdated fast. Before long, this Silver–Horned Bow blueprint might lose its edge.
Either way, it was a gamble.
The beasts she was facing were getting higher in tier. Her horn bow was high–tier, but since it didn’t have any special abilities, it was starting to fall short against the Advanced monsters.
She had to upgrade, or fighting would get way harder, and maybe even risky.
‘No point waiting. It’s better to make it now,‘ thought Leeanne.
Once she made up her mind, Leeanne didn’t hesitate. “Yes,” she said.
[Crafting successful! You have obtained 1 Rare Silver–Horned Bow.]
[Silver–Horned Bow: Rare weapon. Requires Feather Arrows. Skill 1: Precision (increases shooting accuracy); Skill 2: Speed (increases shooting speed); Skill 3: Blinding Sun (3% chance to trigger under bright sunlight, blinding the target for 3 seconds.)]
The Silver–Horned Bow came with three awesome effects, all of them pretty sweet.
With better precision and speed, her aim would be way more accurate, which meant her combat power got a huge boost.
And that Blinding Sun skill was seriously OP. There was a chance it could blind her target, even though it was only for three seconds. But in the heat of battle, those three seconds could turn the tide.
Leeanne was satisfied with her Silver–Horned Bow. With this weapon, she felt way more prepared to take on Coral Island.

But there was a catch. The Silver–Horned Bow needed Feather Arrows, and she still didn’t have the Feather Arrow blueprint for them.
Leeanne opened up the trading hall and searched for a while, but still couldn’t find the blueprint she needed.
However, she did come across a horn bow blueprint, like the one she used before.
She pulled up the chat window, and it was buzzing with activity.
Jared: [Hey, anyone need an Intermediate horn bow blueprint?]
Someone asked, [Whoa, you guys actually scored a horn bow blueprint? Why not keep it for yourselves? Long–range weapons are super rare, you know.]
Jared: [My junior apprentice opened two chests, and both had horn bow blueprints. One is Intermediate, and the other is Advanced. She’s keeping the Advanced one for herself and selling the Intermediate. So, anyone interested? Make me an offer.]
[Your junior apprentice? Bailey Reynolds?] someone asked.
Jared: [Yeah, Bailey, the lucky angel. We even gave her a nickname.]
[She’s awesome. Impressive!] someone else chimed in.
Vanessa: [Anyone need a Feather Arrow blueprint?]
anne’s eyes lit up. ‘That’s exactly what I’ve been searching for,‘ she thought.
as she was about to reply, Jared cut her off. [Feather Arrow? Takes way too many materials, and one can
use them with Rare bows. Not worth it, and doesn’t make much sense.]
Vanessa: [How is it not worth it? Just because you can’t use it doesn’t mean nobody can. Someone out there definitely can.]
Jared: [Who are you saying can’t use it?]
Vanessa: [You don’t even have the right bow for it, so it’s not for you, obviously!‘
