Lecanne smiled. “Even the sparrows here are one of a kind, huh?”

Emmett chuckled and pulled out some bottled water to wash his hands.

The sparrow poop didn’t faze him at all. His eyes were practically shining. “Leeanne, whatever you want me to do, I’m game. Forget the treasure, I’m just here for the experience.”

Leeanne pointed toward the woods ahead. “There’s a group of monkeys over there. Help me take them down, and we’ll split all the loot, except for the Water Treading Boots blueprint.”

Emmett grinned. “No problem, Leeanne. You’re being way too generous.”

Gideon gave a quick nod and rushed forward.

Leeanne quickly added, “The Water Treading Boots blueprint is the real prize here.”

Gideon said, “It’s okay.”

Emmett replied, “I’m not here for the loot.”

He dashed after Gideon.

Leeanne hurried after them. ‘A whole swarm of Level 5 Golden Monkeys? Those two are nuts charging in like that,‘ she hought.

Sure enough, Gideon and Emmett came running back in no time.

Emmett checked his ripped shirt and couldn’t help but marvel, “Man, I never expected the monkeys on Coral Island to be his fierce. An entire mob of Level 5 monkeys? This game is seriously wild.”

Leeanne said, “We can’t handle the whole pack. Someone needs to pull a couple over so we can take them out quick.”

Gideon pointed at Emmett. “You go.”

Emmett yelped, “Why me?”

Gideon said coldly, “Now!”

Emmett thought about it, then his round face broke into a grin. “Actually, it makes sense. My boots are top–notch and super fast. Leeanne, they’re enchanted now. I’m practically flying when I run.”

Before Leeanne could say anything, he shouted, “I’m going. Check this out!”

Emmett dashed off at full speed.

And he really was fast.

Before long, he came back with a monkey hot on his heels.

The long–armed Golden Monkey was furious, chasing Emmett and sneezing as it ran.

Emmett shouted. “Hurry up! Level 5 monkeys are no joke. I tried my bio attack, but it barely got stunned before snapping right back.”

Leeanne and Gideon jumped in right away. Leeanne swung her long blade, while Gideon whipped his Spirit Serpent Whip.

It took five or six minutes to finish the fight.

Leeanne had gotten even stronger after eating those spirit fruits.

Of course, Gideon was seriously strong, too. Leeanne figured he must’ve had some fortuitous encounters, probably thanks to all those wild adventures Emmett dragged him into.

Soon enough, Emmett came back with two more Level 5 long–armed Golden Monkeys. Seeing Gideon and Leeanne holding them off, he immediately ran back.

This time, one of the long–armed Golden Monkeys dropped a chest.

Leeanne rushed over and opened it.

Just then, Emmett lured another Golden Monkey over.

Lecapne shouted, “Take it down first. We’ll divvy up the loot after.”

Emmett replied, “Okay.”

He scampered off, all smiles.

After killing thirteen Level 5 Golden Monkeys, a fourth treasure chest finally dropped.

Leeanne rushed over and opened it.

Leeanne let out a sigh of relief.

‘Finally, I got my hands on this blueprint, she thought. “These Water Treading Boots are seriously awesome.”

Common Flippers only gave a +1 speed boost underwater, Intermediate Flippers gave +2, and Advanced Flippers gave +3.

But her Water Treading Boots gave her +5 speed underwater, and +5 speed on water too. From now on, she could ditch the flippers for good.

Leeanne’s heart was burning with excitement.

She stashed the blueprint and said, “Let’s go, time to move on.”

There was only one Water Treading Boots blueprint, and with that in the bag, she was ready to see what other loot she could

score.

Emmett protested, “Huh? But I’m not done playing yet.”

Leeanne said, “Besides the Water Treading Boots, I got an Intermediate Flippers, a Blackscale Leather Armor blueprint, and

ten bananas.”

She didn’t need the Intermediate Flippers, and the Blackscale Leather Armor blueprint was basically men’s gear, so she just handed both over to Emmett and Gideon.

She let them sort it out themselves.

Emmett’s chubby cheeks practically danced with excitement when he saw the blueprint and the flippers.

He chuckled. “Oh, Leeanne, you’re too generous. We’re just here to help out, not for the loot.”

He quickly grabbed the Intermediate Flippers and the Blackscale Leather Armor blueprint, then split them up. He took the lippers, and Gideon got the blueprint.

There were ten bunches, and each one was pretty big.

She handed three bunches each to Gideon and Emmett, kept three for herself, and split the last bunch between the three of hem.

Those Level 5 Golden Monkeys were tough to handle, and all three of them were pretty beat.

So they stepped back, plopped down on some rocks by the path, and started munching on bananas while they caught their ›reath.

Those bananas were delicious and just what they needed to recharge.

Emmett was wolfing down his seventh banana when his eyes suddenly went wide. “Someone else is coming to Coral Island.”

ceanne asked, “Who?”

Emmett replied. “Bailey.”

Leeanne pulled up the chat screen and caught Bailey’s message just in time. [This has to be the entrance to Coral Island.]

Bailey replied: [I’m waiting for my dad.]

Callum: [Bailey works hard for it. It’s not just luck.]

ared added: [Yeah, Bailey’s been working hard since she was a kid. She’s not like some people who just rely on luck.]

Zane chimed in: [Bailey really is the hardest worker I’ve ever seen. Only someone like her can make it to the end.
