The kitten rolled its eyes. “It’s just a Blue Phosphorus Shrimp. What’s so special about it?”

Leeanne insisted, “Give it back, now!”

The kitten smirked, “Already ate it. Too late.”

Leeanne pulled out her Spirit Serpent Whip, and the kitten’s eyes went wide as saucers. “Hey, I ate your shrimp. To make it up to you, I’ll take you to find some real treasure.”

Leeanne asked, “What treasure?”

The kitten raised its head with a smug air. “The recipe for the Clarity Elixir.”

The recipe for the Clarity Elixir? I already know where it is. Do I need this cat’s help?‘ Leeanne mused.

Usually, recipes like that meant she had to hunt down some mutant beasts. As long as she found the right spot, she could handle it herself.

She didn’t need the kitten acting as her guide.

Leeanne shook her head. “No way.”

She gave the kitten a long, hard look. “Unless you can offer something valuable, or else…”

The kitten froze for a second. “Let me think.”

Leeanne scooped up Little Seal and headed to a secluded spot. She told Little Blue to keep watch, then handed over two Blue Phosphorus Shrimp to Little Seal.

She popped one Swiftwing Fruit into her mouth right away, then picked up one Blackstone Date and ate it, too.

Then, Leeanne let Little Seal take the lead, and together they plunged underwater, heading right to where the Swiftwing Fruits were found.

The Swiftwing Fruits looked like a tangled bunch of seaweed. Most of the fruit had been snatched up. Only a few were left, scattered here and there.

Leeanne wasn’t ready to give up. She pulled out her iron shovel, planning to dig a bit.

But just as she started, an icy system voice echoed in her ears:

As soon as she stepped onto the shore, she saw a few dolphins jumping out of the water nearby, calling out with cheerful chirps.

Little Seal perked up, grinning. “Hey, friends. Wait for me.”

It dove right into the sea and quickly swam over to the dolphins, joining them as they played and splashed around together.

Lecanne was silent.

‘Wow, who knew Little Seal had friends all over the place? It’s got a knack for making buddies,‘ she thought.

She opened up the Coral Island Treasure Map, checking it out and thinking hard about which treasure to hunt down next.

Still left on her list were the Water Treading Boots, Antidote Pill, Clarity Elixir recipe, Advanced Fins, and Advanced Diving Suit.

No need to bother with the White Marble Everleaf yet. It was not even ripe.

Leeanne thought, ‘Whatever, I’ll go and take a look. Gotta take advantage while Little Blue can still fly.

Leeanne called Little Blue back and had it check out a few treasure spots.

Once she got a general sense of things, she told Little Blue to remember those spots.

All these treasures meant she’d have to slay some monsters to get them.

Out of all of them, the Water Treading Boots were what she wanted most.

As the name suggests, Water Treading Boots let her walk right on water, making it way easier to take down sea monsters than riding on Snowy’s back.

And on top of that, Water Treading Boots would make her even faster.

She had to step up her treasure hunting. There was no way the game would let her hog the island all to herself. Sooner or later, people would start pouring in through the other two entrances.

Leeanne checked the time. She was almost at the three–hour mark. Once that time hit, she could finally summon her friends.

She planned to summon Gideon and Emmett. Gideon had crazy combat power, so with him around, they could slay those tier–five beasts together.

Emmett was essential for the headcount. No way she could do without him.

Leeanne sent a private message to both of them: [Coral Island. You guys in?]
