Chapter 233

Little Seal said, Three shrimps a day!

Leeanne raised an eyebrow. Isn’t that a bit too high? Maybe I’ll do it myself when I get back. The Blue Phosphorous Shrimp will only be ready in a couple of days later.

Little Seal got anxious. Two shrimps a day!

Leeanne smiled and patted it. Alright, but you must take good care of them.

Little Seal happily ran off. Leeanne crossed another thing off her task list. Maeve, too, could raise the Blue Phosphorous Shrimp, but asking an elderly person to check on them every hour was just way too exhausting.

Coral Island would be closing in less than two days, and she would be staying here for the two days. Even if there weren’t as many treasures left, the resources on Coral Island were still way richer than on other islands.

Therefore, if she only started raising the Blue Phosphorous Shrimp when she got back, there would be a twoday delay.

Little Seal was a much better choice. Although it couldn’t speak clearly, it was very intelligent. For the shrimp it loved to eat, it would definitely work diligently.

She wasn’t worried about Little Seal running off with the breeding tank, as she had sea demon vine guarding it. Moreover, ever since she rescued the manta ray and gave Little Seal a real scare, it dared not try anything sneaky anymore.

With the Blue Phosphorous Shrimp breeding issues sorted, Leeanne felt relieved. She picked up a stone and skipped it across the water, making a satisfying splash.

Quack, quack, quack!A flock of ducks suddenly appeared, swimming out of nowhere. They were about the size of ordinary adult ducks, with white wings and only a hint of orange on their necks, looking a bit different from regular ducks.

[Tier 3 Little White Duck: Skill: Water Arrow!]

Even a duck was so tough. It could shoot water arrows. Before Leeanne could even make a move, the leading Little White Duck snapped open its beak and launched a water arrow at her with a splash.

Leeanne quickly dodged and let Little Blue and Snowy loose. Little Blue dove from above, unleashing Rapid Claw Strike, while Snowy dashed across the water, barreling straight through the flock.

Leeanne stayed on the shore, swinging her Spirit Serpent Whip. The best thing about the whip was its length, which could hit targets from pretty far away.

Teaming up with Little Blue and Snowy, Leeanne killed over a dozen little white ducks in no time, sending the rest fleeing for their lives. Leeanne waded into the water and started dismantling the fallen ducks one by one.

Harvest Little White Duck: Obtained duck meat x1, duck down x10.]

Wow, and duck down too?Leeanne thought.

The duck meat was already featherless. Once it hit the grill, it’d be mouthwatering for sure, she thought.

Now that she thought about it, she had been here all this time and still hadn’t tasted any roast duck.

The roast duck was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Dipping it in sauce, wrapping it in a pancake, and adding refreshing cucumber and scallion stripsit tasted absolutely delicious.

Just thinking about it makes my mouth water, Leeanne thought. No way I’ll let these roast ducks, wait, these ducks, get away! Gotta keep after them!Leeanne thought.

Leeanne, Little Blue, and Snowy chased after the panicked ducks, who bolted out of the water and onto the shore, flapping wildly as they rushed toward the seaside.

Seriously? Are they trying to dive into the sea?Leeanne thought. No way!Leeanne hurriedly sent Little Blue ahead to block their escape.

With a fullon chase, she and her team finished off the rest of the ducks, then butchered them one by one, collecting a goo haul of duck meat and down.

While cleaning up, Leeanne spotted two white ducks cowering in the bushes, too scared to move. She snatched them up, bound their feet, and planned to haul them back to the ship later.

Guess I can start my own duck farm now, Leeanne thought. From now on, there’ll be an endless supply of duck meat for me!

After thinking it over, she headed back to the pond and checked the bushes nearby. Sure enough, she found several nests packed with duck eggs there.

She wasn’t into roast duck eggs, but she loved salted duck eggs; they were delicious. Maeve was the best at pickling eggs, whether chicken or duck eggs.

Moreover, most of these were probably fertile eggs. If she hatched them in the mystical cherry grove, they would grow up fast and start laying eggs like crazy. Right now, the chicks she had in the mystical cherry grove had already grown up.

Just as Leeanne finished tidying up, Emmett called out to her, Come over, time to eat.

Since they were all in the same team, Leeanne realized Emmett and Gideon were only a few miles away. She thus hurried over right away.

When she got there, Emmett, with an apron, was standing in front of the grill, barbequing. Of course, it was the usual skewers and chicken wings, just like always.

Emmett and Gideon were total meat lovers. They barely ever touched veggies. Unfortunately, there was no table. Leeanne grabbed a table and three chairs from Maeve and set them up right on the lawn.

Emmett’s eyes went wide. Man, why didn’t I think of that?He was so caught up in the food that he completely forgot about the table and chairs.

Now they were out on a massive stretch of grass, surrounded by various trees, vines, and colorful flowers. It was absolutely

gorgeous.

This place was so beautiful; it almost felt like having a picnic here would be wasting it. Honestly, everywhere on Coral Island was stunning.

Leeanne plopped down in a chair and started skewering meat with Gideon. With Emmett’s appetite, they had no choice but to keep the food coming.

Suddenly, Leeanne remembered the ducks she had caught earlier. She pulled out three and asked Emmett, Should we roast these?

Emmett was practically drooling. Roast duck? Man, that’s my favorite! Too bad it’s such a pain. You gotta marinate it for a whole day, or at least a few hours, right?

Gideon said, Marinate them today, and roast them tomorrow.

Emmett agreed, “It sounds good

Without a second thought, Emmett grabbed the ducks and packed them up. Leeanne, I’ll treat you to some roast duck

tomorrow.

Leeanne grinned and said, Deal!

Half an hour later, Emmett finally finished grilling and brought the food over to the table. By then, Maeve had already cooked up a bunch of dishes. There were beef stew, stirfried veggies, and pork sandwiches.

Leeanne brought out a huge pot of beef stew, two plates of stirfried veggies, and two baskets of sandwiches. The table was packed with food again.

The beef stew was made with meat from a Tier 5 beast, and the aroma was absolutely mouthwatering. Mixed with the scent of all the grilled meat, it drifted out for miles.

At this point, much time had passed, and the number of people on the island had skyrocketed. There were already hundreds of them. Now and then, someone would pass by and spot the three of them chowing down on a feast.

So, a few people started chatting in the chat channel: [I just saw a girl, a tall guy, and a chubby dude eating at a table loaded with food. Why aren’t they out there fighting monsters for loot? What’s with the fancy meal?]

[Emmett? It’s definitely him. In his world, eating is the top priority.]

[If I’m not mistaken, the other two must be Leeanne and Gideon.]

[Man, I’m drooling here! I need some barbecue too. I’ve been on this island for seven or eight hours, and I haven’t even sipped water. Screw it, I’m done hustling!]
