The prince met Leeanne’s gaze and nodded slightly.

His voice was pleasant, almost like the sound of a clear musical instrument.

Little Blue, Snowy, Fluffy, and Little Seal all spotted the merman prince.

Except for Little Seal, who was still glued to the breeding tank, Little Blue and Snowy both moved to the edge of the raft.

Little Blue wiped away some drool and whispered, “That’s one big fish. He looks all soft and tender.”

Snowy kicked it. “Shh! Are you trying to get yourself killed?”

Leeanne shot Little Blue a fierce glare.

Luckily, the merman prince was lost in his own world and seemed oblivious to their conversation.

The giant shell drew near to the raft, but then began to drift away again.

Leeanne got a bit anxious and quickly searched for something else to talk about.

When chatting with someone, one had to figure out what the other person liked. Since she still had no clue about the prince’s interests, she asked cautiously, “I like playing chess. What about you? Do you have any hobbies?”

The merman prince looked up, his eyes a little lost.

Leeanne noticed him quietly raise his hand, as if fiddling with something.

Out of nowhere, his face shifted. He twisted around, and with a loud splash, his huge fishtail sent a wave of water spraying right at Leeanne.

Leeanne was startled and quickly stepped back.

“Splash!” The spray landed on her raft, drenching her clothes.

Little Blue and Snowy couldn’t get away in time, and both got

soaked.

Little Blue was furious, shaking its head. “You jerk, I’m going to kill you.”

It spread its wings, ready to throw down, but Snowy calmly stepped on Little Blue’s tail.

Little Blue spun around. Let me go. I’m going to peck that stupid fish’s tail to shreds.”

Snowy gave him a deadpan look. “You really think you can take him down?”

Little Blue snapped back, “So what if I can’t? Haven’t you ever heard of bluffing”

Leeanne wiped her face.

She looked up and saw the merman prince’s shell drifting further and further away.

He’s leaving Leeanne thought. No way am I letting the merman prince slip away!

She quickly shouted, “Radar, Viney, let’s go. Catch up to him.”

The Omni Radar kicked into high gear, slicing the raft through the waves at top speed.

The sea demon vine swung its vines, giving the raft an extra boost.

The raft sped across the waves, but the merman prince’s shell was even faster. Leeanne refused to give up kept up the chase for a good half hour, but eventually, he vanished from sight.

‘Man, rebellious teens are impossible, Leeanne thought.

Leeanne had no choice but to stop.

Suddenly, the sea demon vine whipped out its vines and grabbed two bottles. “Master, that little prince has been scribbling notes and tossing them into the sea in message bottles.”

Leeanne said, “Let me take a look.”

Well, chasing him all that time wasn’t a total waste. At least she managed to pick up the prince’s message bottles.

Maybe these bottles would reveal what was really going on in the prince’s head.

Leeanne tipped out the notes from both bottles and looked them over.

The first note read: [I love my mom, but I don’t think she’s ever loved me.]

The second note read: [I left in a hurry this time, so I didn’t bring my beloved musical instruments. I really miss my harp and flute. They’re my best friends.]

Leeanne’s eyes lit up. She thought, ‘Not bad, I actually found something useful.

“The merman prince’s family drama? That’s none of my business. But he mentioned that he wanted musical instruments. If I give Elvis a musical instrument, he’ll totally love it.

Leeanne was excited for a moment, but then her brows furrowed in worry.

‘But where am I supposed to find a musical instrument? The prince likes harps and flutes. Where on earth am I supposed to get those?‘ Leeanne thought.
