“A white ceramic coffee pot? And coffee cups?” Rodger walked over, picked them up, and couldn’t help but admire them. “These are so finely crafted, every detail is meticulous. Amazing work!”
Danelle, busy roasting sunflower seeds, craned her neck to look over. “Getting excited over coffees again? What’s the use if you don’t even have any coffee?”
Rodger shook his head. “What a shame!”
Leeanne’s eyes sparkled. “Actually, I do have some coffee…”
After helping out that little monkey, she’d scored two packs of coffee leaves and even a coffee plant.
The coffee plant was still stashed in her backpack, just waiting for tomorrow when everyone left, so she could plant it in her mystical cherry grove.
The coffee, though, were tucked away in a wooden chest in the warehouse.
Leeanne headed to the warehouse and brought out both black coffee and green coffee.
Rodger had been waiting for this. He opened the paper packet, picked up a few leaves, and his eyes lit up. “This is some good coffee! Smells almost like Keemun black coffee. Danelle, come check it out.”
Danelle wiped her hands and hurried over to take a sniff. She nodded. “Yeah, and it’s really high quality!”
Leeanne smiled. “Then you’d better hurry up with those sunflower seeds. Soon we’ll be sipping coffee, snacking on seeds, and chatting!”
Danelle cheered, “Wow. Leeanne, it’s awesome hanging out with you!”
Rodger’s eyes twinkled with a smile. He only ever felt truly relaxed and happy when he was with Leeanne. Too bad he’d have to head back tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Leeanne kept tidying up, already thinking about brewing coffee around the stove for a truly cozy, high–quality session.
With Rodger and William’s help, she got everything into the warehouse and organized all the supplies.
She realized it wasn’t just William who gave her chestnuts and peanuts, Rodger and Danelle had also contributed some things to her warehouse.
Danelle gave her nearly all the wild oranges she’d picked, plus half the rabbit meat.
Rodger gave her half the lamb, along with some small red berries, not sure what plant they were from
Leeanne was sorting through her supplies when, out of nowhere, the system window forced itself open with a fresh
announcement.

Chapter 64
[All entries must be in by midnight tonight. Voting closes at 10 PM tomorrow.]
5 vouchers
[First place scores 5 Top land plots. Second to fifth place each gets 2 Advanced plots, and sixth to tenth place snag 1 Intermediate plot. The prizes are awesome, so go all out!]
As soon as the announcement went live, the Local Chat blew up.
A person wrote: [Whoa, a contest! And it’s 10 districts going head–to–head. Each district’s got like 100,000 players, so that’s gotta be 700,000 or 800,000 people. That’s massive!]
Another wrote: [The prizes are legit. Top land makes your plants grow ten times faster, high–grade land speeds it up by four times, and even mid–grade land is solid, at least you can actually start growing stuff!]
Someone wrote: [For real, land is good loot. It’s been a week or more and I haven’t seen anyone score even a single plot, not even the regular kind!]
Someone else wrote: [I’m gonna go all out! Even tenth place would be worth it.]
Another wrote: [Am I the only one who thinks these rewards aren’t all that? Beating out 700,000 or 800,000 people is crazy hard, and the prize is just a couple plots of land…]
Someone wrote: [Don’t knock it till you try it. If you’ve got land, you can grow food, and that solves the whole survival problem. How’s that not awesome? But yeah, it’s gonna be tough, looks like it’s a battle of wallets now.]
Rodger and the others saw the announcement too, and they started chatting about it.
Rodger said, “Hey, this looks pretty cool. We should totally join in!]
Danelle said, “Haha, I think our quality of life is already the best. If we don’t win first place, that’d be a crime!”
Rodger shook his head. “Hard to say. With 10 districts competing, there might be some hidden talents out there.”
Danelle pouted. “Someone more amazing than Leeanne? I don’t buy it!”
Leeanne didn’t bother joining the conversation. She was locked onto the announcement, reading it word by word.
Leeanne wondered, ‘Quality of Life Contest?
‘Isn’t this pretty much the same as that “Most High–Quality Relaxed Life” goal from the Brewing coffee by the stove quest?
The quest was a task from the survival system, while the Quality of Life Contest was something Survival on the Seas was running. The more Leeanne thought about it, the more she felt like her cheat code was seriously overpowered.
‘Maybe the survival system is just way too advanced and high–tech?‘ Leeanne thought.
As long as she focused on acing the Brewing Coffee by the stove quest, she’d have no problem ranking high in the Quality of
Life Contest.
Danelle noticed Leeanne zoning out and nudged her. “Hey, Leeanne, are you going to join?”
Leeanne nodded. “Of course I am!”
She stood up. “Wait for me!”
She headed to the warehouse, grabbed the stove blueprint, and made her way to the workbench

[Stove: Perfect for grilling, keeping warm, and gathering friends. Sit around the stove, brew some coffee, chat, and relax. What could be better? Materials needed: 2 wood, 3 iron, 2 clay. Craft it now?]
Leeanne paused for a moment, then remembered she still had 10 pieces of clay in her inventory.
She immediately said, “Yes!”
[Crafting successful. You’ve obtained a stove!]
A stove appeared on the raft.
It was a small yellow ceramic stove, with four short legs, an iron grate on top, and a heat–resistant pad underneath.
She could put charcoal inside, and it stood just over 8 inches tall, super cute and finely crafted.
It looked way better than the fire pit.
Danelle and the others crowded around. “Leeanne, we’ve already got a brazier. Why’d you make this too?”
Rodger, on the other hand, looked delighted. “This stove is great. Just right for brewing coffee, and it really sets the vibe!”
He shot Danelle a sideways glance. “It’s not the same as a brazier. With the stove, you can control the heat way better, plus it ooks nicer. You can even set it right on the table.”
Realization dawned on Danelle. “Oh, so we’re making coffee now? Wait, aren’t we still entering the contest?”
Of course we are!” Leeanne shared her plan with the others.
She was getting ready to set up a coffee room.
Right now, her raft was 23 feet wide, with the wooden cabins, kitchen, warehouse, and bathroom all lined up from front to back, so the raft stretched out quite a bit.
