Emmett’s eyes lit up as he blurted out in the Local Chat, “Whoa, Leeanne just put Mick in his place! Mick’s hurt, limping, and even dropped to his knees. Oh, that’s gotta hurt!”

He clicked his tongue twice and continued, “It’s so noisy. Ugh, Mick’s such a coward, whining and bawling like a baby. So annoying!”

Rodger was thrilled. “Did Leeanne win?”

Emmett replied, “She won the first round. At least Mick is out of commission now. But he was the weakest one anyway. Myron and Derick are still around, so Leeanne’s not out of the woods yet.”

Danelle laughed. “Leeanne’s amazing! She knocked out one of them in just a single round.”

Rodger said, “Leeanne, you can do it!”

Danelle asked, “Where’s Myron? Isn’t he always spamming the chat? Why’s he gone quiet?”

Emmett replied, “He’s busy helping his brother. Leeanne’s been running him ragged. He’s too tired even to type.”

Myron really hadn’t said a word in the chat for a long time, and he was truly exhausted from being led around.

He helped Mick up, told him to fall back, and turned to Derick. “Leeanne’s got a bow. We need to charge now. Once we get close to her, her arrows will be useless.”

The two of them then charged forward without hesitation.

Leeanne continued to draw her bow and shoot arrows.

But Myron and Derick were way more skilled. They dodged and weaved as they ran, making all of Leeanne’s Arrows miss their mark.

Leeanne remained unfazed, continuously shooting arrows to halt their advance.

Myron was convinced his plan was working. He shouted to Derick, “I’ll cover you. Go finish her off!”

Derick nodded and dashed forward.

Myron raised his longsword, blocking Leeanne’s Arrows as they came flying.

He saw Leeanne clearly panicking.

Myron smirked. “Leeanne, your bow and arrows are useless now. You’ll see!”

Seeing Leeanne panic, Derick got cocky, too.

“Here I come!” he shouted, charging in with his massive iron axe.

Suddenly, with a heavy crash, Derick cried out, “Ouch!”

He’d gone straight into a trap.

The spikes in the trap pierced his left calf, pain shooting through him as he grimaced.

But Derick was exceptionally tough. He only let out a single cry before gritting his teeth against the pain, standing up, and struggling to climb out of the trap.

But as he just jumped out, he stepped on the iron caltrops nearby.

A sharp pain shot through his sole, and he let out a muffled groan. His leg gave out, and he tumbled right back into the pit, dragging a whole vine of iron caltrops along with him.

The caltrops scraped along his calf, leaving scratches all the way.

“Ah! That hurts!” Derick finally cried out. He stood trembling in the pit, fighting through the pain as he yanked the caltrops out of his leg one by one. Then, he flung the whole vine as far as he could.

Myron stopped dead in his tracks, stunned. He didn’t dare move forward.

He realized there were traps ahead.

Emmett poked his head out, watching all this excitedly, then typed in the Local Chat, “Whoa, Derick’s halfway done for now. Leeanne’s awesome!”

Danelle was even more hyped. “Already? It’s only been a minute.”

Emmett replied, “Yeah, they’re just that useless.”

Someone got impatient. “Emmett, aren’t you giving us the play-by-play? Give us the details. What’s actually happening?”

“Yeah, Derick’s a serial killer. How did he end up out of commission?” someone else asked.

“Is Leeanne really that badass? She managed to defeat two guys in just a few minutes?” another person echoed.

Emmett shook his head smugly. “Hmph. Anyway, Derick’s hurt too. Myron and the other two haven’t even gotten close to Leeanne yet.”

Someone asked, “So how did Leeanne injure Derick and Mick?”

Rodger cleared his throat. “Emmett, some stuff’s fine to share, but some things you should keep under wraps.”

He didn’t want Emmett spilling Leeanne’s trump cards, like her bow, arrow, and traps.

Emmett got the message. “Well, Myron’s so scared he won’t even budge. What a wimp!”

Myron gritted his teeth. Truth was, he was indeed pretty freaked out, especially seeing how wrecked Derick was.

However, Leeanne didn’t allow him to hesitate. Her Arrows came whizzing at him, one after another.
