When Hayley got back to her shelter, she immediately started counting her loot for the day.

As usual, she first traded 1,000 level-1 crystal cores with the system for points. In addition to today’s territory expansion of the old factory, her total points had now reached 150,000, plus a crystal core reward pack.

She decided not to open the reward pack just yet.

Rubbing her excited hands together, Hayley exchanged 100,000 points for a full radar system.

With a sharp electronic hum, a new section expanded behind the second-floor tower. Several radar stations appeared on top of her bunker.

The entire radar network was now linked across her second floor.

Built by the system itself, it would automatically adjust its range as her territory expanded. Any unusual activity within the area would be detected and reported directly to Hayley. 1

It was way more precise than the Territory Link.

Even better, the radar worked together with her recon-strike drone system. If it detected anything suspicious, she could simply transmit the coordinates and send a drone to scout or strike. No more running around in person.

The base’s security just got another major upgrade!

While browsing through the catalog, Hayley’s eyes lit up when she spotted something new: a full electronic registration system.

Essentially, it functioned like the card systems used in cafeterias or fitness centers before the apocalypse. The system labeled it as an “essential base product”, priced at just 100 points. Each member card cost one point. Without hesitation, Hayley placed an order and bought 100 cards.

It was exactly what she needed. From now on, every resident of her base would have their own ID and point card. It would make earning and spending points effortless. No more manual record-keeping would be needed.

The Super Lord System really knew how to create an outstanding ruler. It understood exactly what Hayley needed! A few moments later, the entire set materialized before her. Each card was beautifully printed with the words ” Haylight Base”.

Before the apocalypse, something like this would’ve been easy to make. A decent programmer could write the code, then hook it up to a sensor and a chip card, and a full system would be created.

But now, in the middle of an apocalypse? There were no programmers left to hire and no way to find all that hardware.

That was why what the system gave her was perfect. It was fast, bug-free, and even looked nice.

After setting it up, Hayley quickly entered the data for all 19 of her current members, along with their individual point balances. Tomorrow, Cloudia could take the cards and hand them out.

With that, Haylight Base finally had a proper structure in place.

After taking care of the points system, Hayley used her Evolution Extractor to refine a level-3 crystal core into an evolution serum. She drank it herself, then made another serum from a level-1 zombie crystal core for Leonard. 1

Looking at the vial, she smirked, feeling like she was the best boss in the entire world.

Still, there was no chance in hell she would give Leonard a raise.

“Here,” she said, holding out a glass of water and a card.

Leonard, who had just finished cooking, took them without hesitation and drank the water in one gulp. It tasted just as sweet as always. Guess the water from Hayley was special in some way. 1

“What’s this?” he asked, glancing at the card.
