Chapter 241

While fighting back, the three men were hauled into the moving cars by their teammates.

Boom!

With another rocket from the lead vehicle, they blasted their way out again.

“Damn… They’re insane.”

Hayley’s eyes lit up as she watched the intense, ruthless style of fighting.

This was what real men looked like in a fight!

They were like wild beasts breaking through a siege, showing raw power and savage strength in every move. It was pure force and total dominance.

The only problem was…

These very beasts were coming straight at her and her people.

The front vehicles headed directly for the mall’s back entrance.

They weren’t planning on coming in, were they?

Hayley barely finished the thought when the first truck screeched to a halt at the back door.

Yep. They were coming in.

“We’re going down!”

Hayley turned and ran downstairs immediately.

By the time she reached the ground floor, Liam and his entire team were already guarding the back entrance.

“Boss, I think there are people inside.”

When the first vehicle stopped, the newcomers noticed there were people inside the mall. They jumped out and ran straight for the roll-up door.

One man in the group had his entire face wrapped, only his eyes showing. His gaze turned icy.

“If they get in our way, kill them.”

Right then, with a loud clatter, the shutter rose from the inside. A group of men in matching copdat gear appeared behind it, and every one of them had a gun ready.

Liam stood in the center and barked, “Get inside, now!”

Milo Reynolds froze for half a second.

Then, gunfire erupted behind them.

Rat-tat-tat!

Rat-tat-tat!

Rat-tat-tat!

Liam and his men opened fire on the oncoming zombie wave.

Milo didn’t hesitate anymore. He motioned for his people and stormed into the complex.

The moment they were all inside, Liam shouted for the door to be shiut.

Barn!

Barn! Barn!

Bam, barn, bam!

Zombies slammed into the metal door from the outside.

Shelves and wooden boards were quickly piled up against it, sealing the entrance tight.

Only then did everyone finally breathe again.

“You dragged all those zombies here. Now we’re surrounded!” someone from Shield Base snapped.

The man in black turned and gave him a cold look, then glanced at Liam.

“Is he one of yours?”

“No. A partner base,” Liam replied flatly.

“He’s with me. I’m Wallace Goodwin, leader of Shield Base. My people speak without a filter. Don’t take it personally. And you are…?”

Wallace had already sized them up.

Their equipment screamed military grade, just like Liam.

But their presence was completely different. Liam’s people carried discipline and order, while these men carried nothing but killing intent.

Wallace’s mind immediately started running numbers again.
