Chapter 253

“I brought you something good!”
Hayley took out all the automated farming machines that the system had given her. Looking over the amount of farmland her base had, she officially started planning the land layout.
She divided all the usable land into ten farms and assigned two residents to each one, running everything with full mechanization.
In a single move, productivity exploded.
Her base had about 40 people. Before, they could only manage the output of one small farm. Now, with half the manpower, they were working 10 times the land.
Hayley assigned the extra hands to the factories and started processing the excess food.
They began producing things everyone needed and never had enough of: instant noodles and dried foods.
As soon as Hayley gave the order, the residents got to work right away.
After all, they now had full automation.
One person could sit in a tractor and plow hundreds of acres alone.
Everyone at Haylight Base was mobilized.
In less than two days, Haylight Base officially entered full mechanized production. All ten massive farms were up and running, and production lines for instant noodles and dried goods were online.
Her base might have been small, but its production capacity was 106 times greater than all the other bases combined.
Meanwhile, over at Base K1…
“Your base really is way better than mine,” Milo said as he followed Liam around on a tour.
Ever since the evolution serum came into the picture, Liam had officially taken over full control of Base K1, and everything inside and out had changed.
Not only had living conditions improved, but overall order was much better, too.
The slums had been completely transformed in terms of sanitation and housing.
“I’m still far behind. We haven’t even restarted production yet,” Liam said seriously.
So far, not just him, but almost every base he knew had failed to restore productive capacity. Getting production back on its teet was incredibly hard.
“What about Hayley, then? What’s her place like?”
Liam paused at the question. He looked at Milo and said, “I’ll be honest. I’ve never actually seen her base myselt. Do you believe that?”
Milo said nothing, just stared at him in disbelief
Half an hour later, Milo and Liam arrived at Hayley’s shelter
At first glance, Milo was stunned by how fortress like it looked
A wire fence over 30 feet tall crackled with high voltage electricity and was lined with blade like spikes inside the fence was a yard full of crops, and there was even livestock
A tow of metal
“She built herself a straight-up fortress,” Mild muttered
“Woof! Woof! Woof!”
“Woof! Woof! Woof!”
